dsl ![]() | Enough visible to match this format. No vinyl roof so not a VdP, and the only other 4.2 with side chrome strip was Sept 83 4.2 renamed from Sovereign which had spoked alloys but was dropped in Nov 83 after only about 320 made. |
2015-10-06 14:02 | ||
G-MANN ![]() | All S3 XJs had chrome mirrors (you're thinking of X300s & X308s) and you can't even see the alloys. I don't think tints & fogs = Double Six either. -- Last edit: 2015-10-06 13:10:52 |

dsl ![]() | Chrome mirrors, fogs, tints, alloys are good enough. Leaving entries as just a make is a waste of everyone's time. | 2015-10-06 01:20 | ||
G-MANN ![]() | No it isn't. Double Six was the most expensive model in the Jaguar range, it's like randomly labelling Mercedes S-Class as an S600 when it could just be an S320. -- Last edit: 2015-10-06 01:12:55 |

eLMeR ![]() | For me, it looks more like having the "suspended" headlamps of a Peterbilt. But if so, which model, as it doesn't seem to have the air cleaners nor the vertical exhaust pipes of a 359 / 379? _____ Is it a CHiPs footage? -- Last edit: 2015-10-05 18:49:27 |

zodiac ![]() | I believe this is has a P-series cabin which sits slightly lower than the R-series cabin. Please compare: P: http://www.keltruck.com/_system/img/highres/292198_highres_Scania.jpg . R: Link to "www2.picturepush.com" . I'd say it's far more likely to have a 11-litre stright six than a 14-litre V8. (The 8-litre stright six is probably too small) I can't recall ever having seen a P-series with a V8 in real life, and I cannot see one when typing P142 at Google either. That is either a 1980-89 Scania P 112 or a 1987-97 Scania P 113. I can't see any differences. -- Last edit: 2015-10-04 23:15:07 |
