993cc ![]() | Would really like a better view of that obscure Ferrari 512 conversion on 5.05 to at least confirm the whole thing is not a replica. So far my research has produced nothing specific. | 2022-07-24 21:55

ayba ![]() | The Chevrolet Caprice is like the Impala, the Impala was a trim of the Bel Air in 1958 becoming it's own model in 1959, and the Caprice was a trim of the Impala in 1965 becoming it's own model in 1966. | 2021-12-01 10:33

Ser Ciappelletto ![]() | IRMacGuyver - It was likely a non-motorized prop made just for the show. Iirc the car doesn't even drive. The scene was shot with background projection in a studio. | 2021-09-22 05:28
Volt01 ![]() | Keep in mind this truck was made from 1957 to 1990 virturally unchanged, so this may be a cheaper stand in. | 2021-06-24 02:14

batbuick ![]() | In the photo above contributed by "antp" showing the man behind the wheel, you can see the divider window rolled down behind the driver. This car is the only known example of a 903 Convertible Sedan with this body configuration. | 2020-03-28 02:38
batbuick ![]() | I own this car. It's a 1932 Packard 903 Eight Deluxe. They doctored it up by removing the stone guard and the horns, and then covered it in dirt. It is the same car used in The Addams Family movies. Fog lights were added by the previous owner to make it more drivable at night. -- Last edit: 2020-03-28 03:01:11 (dsl) |

TJP ![]() | ![]() The segment on the bridge at approx. 16:08 (PAL version) is borrowed footage from "Falcon Crest". It is most likely another Silver Cloud than in the other scenes. The bridge is actually the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco although this "Quantum Leap" episode is set in New York. You can find out more about the scene originally filmed for "Falcon Crest" here: Link to "falconcrest.org" -- scroll down to "Quantum Leap" # 41. This footage was shot for "Falcon Crest" but remained unused on the show. The Silver Cloud, however, made its way to the series, particularly to some other scenes in the season 5 main title. |
