But, it is a Sport Coupe body style at the moment :)

Max Smoot CAThis is definitely an FLA. Look at the grill: there is no oil access door as this is mounted on the bodypanel directly above the passenger side headlights (although not readily apparent in this oddball picture). The headlights are the rectangular variety, something which did not appear on the FLTs. 2011-02-16 20:29
an_unusual_eye US1979+ ~ though the rx-7 hit the U.S. market in 1978, it was released as a 1979 model.

garco NLWe have FLT and FLT-Series. Shouldn't we combine that two variaties? 2008-01-15 14:42
drujon USIt's actually a 1977, check out the large egg-crate grill. 1979 grill was much finer cross hatching. 2008-01-14 19:00
DynaMike NLThat's right: the rectangular badge behind the front wheel arch identify this as a Premiere Landau ( http://www.lovefords.org/59linc/premiere.htm ), [57B]. The 'low range' version was called just Lincoln Landau (or Sedan or Coupe: http://www.lovefords.org/59linc/lincoln.htm ) and didn't have that badge (amongst other luxury details, since there was a price difference of some 10 %...). 2008-01-14 16:23
antp BE"Lincoln Premiere Landau" then maybe? 2008-01-14 15:15
Alexander DEThat is the normal number code for Mercedes-Benz trucks. The first two digits give the gross-weight, the last two times 10 the approximate horsepower rate.

The entry level of the Mercedes-Benz NG (NG = neue Generation = new generation) is the 1013 which is a bit underpowered and hence rare.

In 1975 the available engines for the middle-weight class were as follows:
* 1013, 1017, 1019 (130, 168, 192 PS)
* 1213, 1217, 1219 (130, 168, 192 PS)
* 1413, 1417, 1419, 1424 (130, 168, 192, 240 PS)
* 1613, 1617, 1624 (130, 168, 240 PS)

There was also a heavy-weight class that used the same cab.

Firebird86 USThe only thing I "think" I can see would be the grills 'silver lines" just in front of the windsheild on the hood that would indicate this is an SS, but it could be a reflection, comments? 2008-01-14 09:16
