HUBCAPMAN ![]() | This is a real Earnhardt 1986 Monte Carlo that he raced. It is one of two left in existence. | 2022-04-15 19:50
dhill_cb7 ![]() | Nothing for this one. | 2021-05-05 02:27

dhill_cb7 ![]() | 250 front with a 350 rear. Best to label F-Series. |
2020-07-08 00:34 | ||
dhill_cb7 ![]() | Amber turn signals debuted for 1978. It was a mid-year change. They debuted 2-1-78. |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | This is a GL. No reddish bue on the molding. | 2020-02-16 22:14
Baube ![]() | can't read it but looks like a regular number... maybe a forgotten detail by the movie crew... or belongs to a movie rental car company.. ![]() |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | Anyone else think it is weird to have the front plate still on it? All the yards around me make the person remove the plate upon entry. I guess it could be a vanity plate ? | 2020-02-09 02:16
Coast40 ![]() | Not a 32 Ford 3w. | 2020-01-09 11:07
dhill_cb7 ![]() | The extra front window makes this an A-108. |

Gamer ![]() | 98/99 by the remaining hubcap. | 2019-02-06 20:54
dhill_cb7 ![]() | Has a 1996 only front door by the black B pillar and a 1997-2000 rear door as the B Pillar is colored. Can't narrow the year by that distinction. -- Last edit: 2018-12-05 21:41:14 |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | 1995-1997 Dodge Stratus. Plymouth would be labeled on the door badge. | 2018-12-05 15:56
Gamer ![]() | Could it be '97' half faded away? | 2018-02-17 19:22
Raul1983 ![]() | Agree. Nice job once again. | 2018-02-01 14:10
Gamer ![]() | I think this is a very rare ca. 1919 Stephens, built by the Stephens Motor Works, a subsidiary of the Moline Plow Company (later: Minneapolis-Moline) https://cdn-w.v12soft.com/photos/ltzKMTX/7619627/File0_041922_800600.jpg We have the choice of three model names: Six (1923, also used for the predecessor 1916-17) Salient Six (1918-1922) or 6-20Six (1924, last model year) Approximately 19,000 Stephens were produced. I was a bit confused at first, thinking that the opera window may have been used by other makes (and it was, however, they were all very short-lived and obscure) however, the distinct egg-shaped cowl lights appear to be the right shape and at the right spot. |

Gamer ![]() | Think I got it now. I had forgotten the 42s could be made late 41, just before the US entered WWII, so I hadn't checked that year yet. With this trim and wheelhouse shape I think it is a 1942 Dodge: Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" the window shape looks about right too. I think I might also be seeing the slight crease in the belt line. Though the 1942 DeSoto and Dodge sister Chrysler also have very similar wheelhouse edges... -- Last edit: 2018-01-24 14:49:10 |

Baube ![]() | sometimes they are not noticed, we ( me ) don't have the answer... ![]() but i did missed this one -- Last edit: 2017-12-19 20:10:56 |

Gamer ![]() | Anyone?? | 2017-12-19 19:39
Gamer ![]() | After a lot of searching, I finally found a picture of a 1946-48 Chevy without a front clip: Link to "classiccarsexport.com" Even better: Link to "www.team-bhp.com" Link to "www.team-bhp.com" (Yes, there's no chassis plaque, but maybe Indian RHD models didn't have it as they were built CKD) Certainly looks like a match! Anyone who knows Detroit iron better than me able to confirm? -- Last edit: 2017-12-07 16:53:39 |
2017-12-07 11:36 | ||
Gamer ![]() | Certainly not a 1939 Dodge. I'd say about 1940-late 41 which was when civilian car production halted after the US joined WWII. The wheelhouse has a slightly distinct octagonal shape, which is what I'm going to look out for. -- Last edit: 2017-11-27 17:44:13 |

Gamer ![]() | I've been looking at this for about half an hour, and I think it's a 1946-48 Chevrolet. Not many cars of that time came with a droopy grille attached directly to the front. The only other car I can think of that has it is the aforementioned 1946-48 Oldsmobile. Link to "ccpublic.blob.core.windows.net" The moldings of the engine bay are also vital - this one has a central pressing on top, followed by a square-circle-square pattern, plus chassis-number on the top left, as on the 46-48 Chevy: Link to "st.lowrider.com" -- Last edit: 2017-11-27 17:52:14 |

Casper Friedrich ![]() | 1926 | 2017-03-28 15:44
Baube ![]() | looks like 1990-1991 rear seat belt to me ( well, the seat belt continues for 1992-1994 but tail ligts makes it stop at 1991 ) -- Last edit: 2016-12-19 19:05:41 |
2016-12-19 19:04 | ||
Lateef ![]() | It wouldn't be a 1947-48 for that matter either, as there are no holes for the turn signals under the headlights. | 2016-10-17 22:23
Gamer ![]() | And if it were really a postwar Ford, it'd have to be a 1947-48 as there are no square holes for where the '46 parking lamps would have gone. | 2016-10-17 22:20
Gamer ![]() | What about a 46-48 Oldsmobile? That's the closest I've come so far. | 2016-10-05 21:32
Gamer ![]() | I think the grille's space is too big for that. | 2016-09-12 17:19
rjluna2 ![]() | I would say this is Styleline Special due to devoid of B-pillar window frame trim ![]() 1949 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1949_Chevrolet_Fleetline_Deluxe_Coupe_(24191319732).jpg 1949 Chevrolet Styleline Special: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Chevrolet_(339053751).jpg |

shlc647 ![]() | It is rather sad seeing a car like that end up in a junkyard because they are very collectible nowadays. ![]() |

rjluna2 ![]() | We had some discussion about Japan/South Korean origin somewhere that I can't remember. |
2015-06-03 02:49 | ||
BrentMosher420 ![]() | Then why are all the Festivas listed with Korea as the model origin? ![]() |
2015-06-02 23:40 | ||
BrentMosher420 ![]() | Wow, the demographics in Fresno are way more interesting than where I live. Last time I went to my local junkyard, the rarest pre-1985 foreign car I could find was a Nissan Stanza... How sad is that? | 2015-05-21 08:12
rtsbusman1997 ![]() | Daihatsu was actually sold in the US. | 2015-05-16 21:48
rjluna2 ![]() | It did, it was sold as Ford Festiva. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Festiva |
2015-04-21 14:50 | ||
BrentMosher420 ![]() | Pretty ironic assumption considering that the Mazda 121 wasn't sold in the US... |

mikezz32 ![]() | This is my 32 plymouth that I built using 36 dodge pickup cab,32 plymouth back section, 32 ford front windshield, chopped top and I hand molded all of the body lines to look like a 32 Ford in the front. It took me 7 years to build this car then I modified it to look like this in our Film. I am driving in this Scene with the pedel to the metal ! ! I had a blast.. Stay Cool, Michael V. Caldwell, Executive Producer of "HOT ROD HORROR" a fun campy Flick. |
