NissanSilviaKs ![]() | The one behind is indeed a VB Commodore. Evident by the tailamps without black frame or line in the middle. Additionally, SL trim by the steel rims and chrome trim around the windows. I'll list it as well. ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2022-05-12 06:43:13 |

Skid ![]() | The car in the actual case was a 1977, but identical to the one used in the movie, right down to the roof rack. | 2017-09-22 20:57
MisterZ ![]() | 525e. There was no 518i or 520i in Australia in 1986, and the 535i had alloy wheels as standard. -- Last edit: 2014-12-04 22:32:01 |

MisterZ ![]() | This is not a Subaru L-Series. The L-Series name wasn't introduced until 1979 in Australia, and this particular model is a pre-1979, 1st gen Leone. In Australia, it was called either "1400" (1974-1975) or "1600" (1976-1979). -- Last edit: 2014-03-11 17:30:30 |

nzcarnerd ![]() | A few other not-so-common cars here as well. Green one on the left - maybe a Morris Major? Maybe a Datsun 180B next to the bus? | 2012-06-21 13:07
nzcarnerd ![]() | I think Corona might be right. I could not match the grille with any Mitsi, but had not looked early enough amongst the Coronas. | 2012-06-21 13:02

nzcarnerd ![]() | I see now where pablosrx4 is coming from suggesting Dodge Challenger. It seems the car we knew in this part of the world as the Mitsubishi Sapporo - the two door coupe body on the Galant frame - was sold in the US as the Dodge Challenger. This car here though is a 4 door sedan. -- Last edit: 2012-06-21 07:05:10 |

nzcarnerd ![]() | The high pipe on the right side says it is a 185 and the style of the tank stripe says it is 1973. Odd though that it has a low-mounted front fender. http://www.suzukicycles.org/All-Suzuki/all_suzuki_models.html -- Last edit: 2012-06-21 13:06:03 |

Adrian ![]() | A white BMW E28 `86-`88 is used in only in one scene (used as a taxi or Limo) transporting Meryl Streep home at the end of the film. The car is white, and equipped with wheel-covers, which suggests it's a entry-level E28...probably a 518i, 520i, or 525e. No special driving or stunts performed with this car. |
