tore-40 NOThere was the 1976 Bicentennial, but Light Ivory doesn't quite match. Champagne had gold stripes on the lower parts - but like whitewall tires or not, this is a 10 year old car at thee moment....

Triple White would get my vote

dsl SX^ Don't know - it looks to these Scottish eyes like chopped and boy-racered Cortina Mk3, which is impossible for US, so not a relevant suggestion. But the semi-derelict in front of it is 71-72 MGB with the first black grille and US-spec treble wipers. 2022-05-20 00:55

And it looks like in 1977, it was only offered with a black top:

Though I think there was a special edition that was offered in White with the Sand top starting in 1977

1977 was Polar White
1978-79 it was Alpine White

dhill_cb7 US1984 has the older grille without the Ford oval. 1985 has this grille. Not sure how we can prove a mid-year change for the grille unless the brochure was printed prior to grille being changed. However, I have never found concrete evidence to support 1984 models have this grille. Googling does indicate some with this grille but I am not sure how we can eliminate the grille was swapped in almost 40 years. 2022-05-19 14:56
