electra225 ![]() | Perhaps a 1982 for the fact that the rear window weaper became standard and this car looks very plane. | 2016-06-27 00:03
electra225 ![]() | agreed about "Anconablau metallic" and 1975. | 2016-06-27 00:01

Weasel1984 ![]() | It is from the years 1983-85 (series 1 still). It has "Turbo" wheel covers, but I'm unable to find any CX Turbo (including diesel) without rear spoiler... | 2016-06-26 14:21
dsl ![]() | OK - this one's getting too complicated to go anywhere further, so 69 accepted. | 2016-06-26 13:37
50sParis ![]() | It is undoubtedly a LWB because of fixed window vents, wheel arches and bumper reflectors. I don't see any gold badging per se, could be black but is difficult to see with the lighting. Different cars might have been used but the main car should be listed '69+ like I said from the beginning. | 2016-06-26 03:40
dsl ![]() | No - main is not a 72 911 S. Apart from the wheelbase discussion, it has no front spoiler and as it continues round the curve from the main capture, it has gold rear badges. So it's a 68 or 69-71 depending on whether we can agree on the wheelbase and whether the arches have lips. It has 73+ mirrors to increase confusion, and I'll now agree it has an aerial. The crash car with sunroof and aerial is a 72 due to oil filler and seems to be the same car from the moment it bumps the bike until the crash finishes and it gets burnt. But again not an S as no spoiler, so T or E. The scrapyard car is probably a 69-71 S - maybe also seen in the first 2 new thumbs - it seems the only one with genuine black/chrome Fuchs. 4th new thumb causes chaos - where did a 911 S with black rear badging appear from?? Not sure what to make of the interior driving shots - opening rear windows and 5-dial clustered dash. So at least 3 cars - main, scrapyard, crash - and maybe a 4th with the black rear badging in new 4th thumb (which is the only confirmed S and a different car from the probable S in scrapyard and first 2 new thumbs). |

50sParis ![]() | Well, this seems to confirm that the main car is a '72 911S | 2016-06-25 23:12
AleX_DJ ![]() | Wonderful! Thanks to both, ElSaxo and dsl! I already own some issues of similar publications, as like the Swiss "Automobil Revue Katalog" and "Tutte le auto del mondo" published by Italian magazine Quattroruote. But this one seems having further more infos. |

dsl ![]() | Cheapest I can find online at the moment is 1984 edition at £5.22 plus postage on Amazon UK. | 2016-06-25 14:30
ElSaxo ![]() | Interesting, a few issues of the Italian edition are available for free: Link to "www.clubacistorico.it" | 2016-06-25 14:19
dsl ![]() | A book. Fascinating big bibles produced each year by Automobile Club of Italy 1962-85, I've got several - I think ingo's got some as well?? Some of the mid-1970s onwards editions can be found surprisingly cheaply on ebay, Amazon etc with patience. Mine are English language editions, but there may have been German as well. |

walter ![]() | Uhm, I'd say 200 by rear lights, but there were several 100 models with these too actually... A clear front view would have been perfect to be sure of the model -- Last edit: 2016-06-25 12:21:34 |

AleX_DJ ![]() | Good to know. Is it an online source or a book? | 2016-06-25 11:19
nzcarnerd ![]() | By the handle bars and instruments it is some kind of trail bike, and a not very big one - Suzuki TS 185 or 250?? - or ?? | 2016-06-25 10:34
jplemoine ![]() | Motobécane H 50? | 2016-06-25 08:49
50sParis ![]() | The main car does have an antenna, if you look closely at the scene, and also reflectors on the rear bumpers, '69+ LWB only. I think it is just the same '72 as in the crash scene; what are the chances of all the blacked-out details being the same and even the mirrors. I cannot imagine they took the effort in creating an exact copy. Let's wait for some more pics :-) | 2016-06-25 02:35
dsl ![]() | Local assembly confirmed - /vehicle.php?id=928012 | 2016-06-25 02:33
dsl ![]() | World Cars 1975 lists Morocco assembly of 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 and 16 TS. Tunisia did the 4 only. Ivory Coast did 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 16 and 16 TS; ZA did 4, 6, 10 , 12, 16 and 16 TS; Madagascar did 4, 6, 12, 16 and 16 TS. | 2016-06-25 02:32
dsl ![]() | Only the crashed one. Not the other two, neither of which have aerials. And the main is still a 68 swb - I watched the sequence. All of which is slightly odd - usually they'd smash the old clunker, but this time the newest one died. |
2016-06-25 02:17 | ||
AleX_DJ ![]() | Could this be a later version produced by Saipa in Iran? | 2016-06-25 01:37
AleX_DJ ![]() | Same as here /vehicle_928017-Renault-6-TL.html Anyway the R12 was assembled in much more sites across the world, but there doesn't seem to have been any in Morocco or other North African countries. |
2016-06-25 01:33 | ||
AleX_DJ ![]() | Yes, there are a lot. Now I'm not at home, tomorrow I will post all the additional pics for this movie. -- Last edit: 2016-06-25 01:29:42 |

50sParis ![]() | So, not '68 but '72 | 2016-06-25 01:28
AleX_DJ ![]() | For the infos I found, the R6 was assembled only in Colombia and Argentina in addition to French and Spanish production, so no North-African production. Maybe cars for local markets were shipped from the FASA plant in Valladolid? |
2016-06-25 01:22 | ||
AleX_DJ ![]() | Exactly. Düsseldorf, Bochum and Hagen for sure. |

dsl ![]() | Crash car has similar mirrors as scrappie car but a radio aerial on wing as it and bike bump - https://youtu.be/mAnSOH6DO7M?t=1553 which is just visible as bent wire at https://youtu.be/mAnSOH6DO7M?t=1566 after the roll. It also has a sunroof as it barrel rolls. Agree the 72 oil filler visible as she opens the door to climb out | 2016-06-24 22:50
ingo ![]() | Overpainted -very badly-, as to see at 26:16 ff, before it was blue. |
2016-06-24 22:27 | ||
ingo ![]() | 1973+ The blue on the thumbnail is a Ford Taunus [TC1], above a 1973 Passat in "marinogelb" and an Opel Rekord. Behind a T2-Bulli and the blue is the Fiat 128 Coupé. |
2016-06-24 22:22 | ||
50sParis ![]() | '72 only for the external oil filler; if the crashed car is the same 911 https://youtu.be/mAnSOH6DO7M?t=23m54s |

jplemoine ![]() | Ou Laverda-ish... Ou accessoire monté sur n'importe quelle moto-ish... | 2016-06-24 22:14
50sParis ![]() | Looks like non-movable vent windows and the wheel arches look flared to me, could be because of the Fuchs... Any other pics of this 4 star car that will help us determine the year? |
