night cub ![]() | Mirage, not a Colt | 2021-03-17 21:30
night cub ![]() | No, Volare was only 2-door sedans, Darts could be 4-door sedans or wagons. Also not sure where this was filmed. You're assuming Mexico but is it? Looking at some of the other cars in the same scene, the are two Mitsubishi Mirages and a Mazda wagon. I don't think either brand was in Mexico at the time. There's also a Mustang, a XJ Cherokee and a Honda Accord (another brand that I don't think was in Mexico at the time). Mazda was introduced in Mexico in November 2005 Mitsubishi entered Mexico in 2003 I think this is Puerto Rico? -- Last edit: 2021-03-17 21:57:54 |

Gamer ![]() | So the Dart K was the wagon and the Volare the sedan? All right then. | 2021-03-17 21:26
night cub ![]() | Well your answer is incorrect. In Mexico, this would be a Dart K. The Volare was only available in one body style, the 2-door sedan. It was meant to be a base model. |

Gamer ![]() | Chrysler Volare in Mexico. Seems they were Volare K for 1983 and just Volare for 1984: Link to "1.bp.blogspot.com" Link to "i.pinimg.com" Link to "www.hobbydb.com" Apparently Gargamel also drives a Volare: https://live.staticflickr.com/8330/8419700618_dfd0b1af2a_b.jpg -- Last edit: 2021-02-19 15:17:45 |

GTL89 ![]() | you´re right. there was three version: Renault 4 furgoneta, furgoneta sobre-elevada y sobre-elevada acristalada. This one was reeplaced by the F6 in 1981. |
2012-11-17 01:34 | ||
GTL89 ![]() | actually, The Renault 4 F4 and F6 was assembled by FASA RENAULT until 1991. it was one of the oldest model of Renault in this country. | 2012-11-17 01:32

tonkatracker ![]() | Stationary rear quarter windows means this one is no older than 1982. 1981s had pop out rear quarter windows (because the main rear door windows did not roll down) | 2011-11-08 11:06

carobserver ![]() | big bumpers and headlights, 1983+ | 2010-12-12 19:55
blackwalls ![]() | This one is a Pegaso 6050, easy to identify thanks to the place of the side windows (from front to rear doors, two windows, doors, three windows. All windows are the same size). Also, the rear oval small windows make this one for sure a Pegaso 6050. |

sixcyl ![]() | Very nice products !!! I would have bought them 5 years ago when I collected vehicles at HO scale (4000 models collection). But I've stopped to collect, exept some OO scale buses (most of them from UK). | 2010-05-20 00:10

-- Last edit: 2010-05-20 16:32:52 |

sixcyl ![]() | What is this toy-model vilero? and do you know what scale it is? ![]() It reminds me the CORGI OOC, and EFE productions of UK bus at 1/76th scale. |

sixcyl ![]() | I think as the french R4 F4 or F6, the name should be Renault F6 Furgoneta Acristalada, and not "Furgoneta Acristalada F6" | 2010-05-19 20:53
Weasel1984 ![]() | Some are listed as Furgoneta same like older French ones are lsited as Fourgonnette. They were in 1978 renamed to F4 (and new model was introduced the F6). It could be that we list these as F4 or F6 + Acristalada, but as you prefer. | 2010-05-19 20:23
garco ![]() | Agree. | 2010-05-19 20:16
vilero ![]() | Well, in the site it seems the model name used is R-4 Furgoneta /vehicles_make-Renault_model-4+Furgoneta.html (I'm sure there are other several spanish R-4 listed as R-4 F4/F6) but for this type I would listed just as Furgoneta Acristalada, since F6 were also called this way Link to "www.coches-motos.com" -- Last edit: 2010-05-19 20:14:36 |

CougarTim ![]() | Motorhome body obviously made by Rockwood; this model appears to be a Rockwell: http://www.rvsjunction.com/view_rv_details.php?RID=17621 | 2010-05-19 20:05
Weasel1984 ![]() | However advert is of F4 and here we have F6... | 2010-05-19 19:47
vilero ![]() | After this adv. from an old 1978 spanish newspaper, I think we can be safe if for this kind of R-4 Furgoneta we add 'acristalada' to the model name |

vilero ![]() | Being this scene filmed in Madrid in the 80s, I'm almost sure this is a Pegaso (EMT Madrid -Madrid Transport Enterprise) and, until I've seen the thumbnail, I was thinking in an usual 6038 (for that time) but the thumbnail makes me think it's an earlier (73+) Pegaso 6050 (scroll down 1/3=the red one with fake plate EMT 0000). Anyway, fsebus will match this better than me. |

vilero ![]() | The building seen in background in several pictures is the Palacio de Comunicaciones -1909- in Plaza de Cibeles, Madrid. | 2010-05-19 19:00

Commander 57 ![]() | Believe this is an '81 to '83 Aries. Note there is no higher top chrome grille piece and the horizontal bars appear heavier than the Reliant version. Also, the Aries grille is slightly wrapped, as this one appears to be. Not an '84, since no star ornament in the grille center. |
