night cub ![]() | I doubt it. One was filmed in Illinois/Ontario, the other was filmed in South Carolina/Georgia. | 2021-08-24 06:13

walter ![]() | Exactly. Maybe it would look outdated nowadays, but it still works very well. It just makes you feel secure, at home. It will not be the case probably, but just look what IGCD is now... It has been splitted from the IMCDB original frame little by little and now we have a pure mess in my opinion, hence I decided to quit. Shame. |

Kowalski5599 ![]() | It makes me sad that comments are now 15+ and some even approaching 20 years old. Hellow future people looking back on this post. 2021 is sketch because we're dealing with corona virus, hope 2036 is better and you aren't in some dystopian future. Cheers, mate. | 2021-02-02 01:45

Reg1992 ![]() | Looks like the Rocket emblems are mounted above the tail lights instead of onto them, making this a 1979. But from this distance, I admit, I can't be completely certain. | 2018-10-08 07:58
Commander 57 ![]() | Well, that feature was standard and required for 1986. | 2018-04-01 21:22

echoboy ![]() | I wonder if this is the same prop car used for the shot of the McCallister family's cars in the garage in Home Alone. Both films were directed by Chris Columbus and there were actually several other props in this film that were reused in Home Alone, one of them being the angel candlesticks on the Home Alone dining room table. | 2017-05-22 04:36
Baube ![]() | don't know if it still his.. but SO COOL is now on a 2007 Toyota Highlander according to Carfax | 2017-02-13 07:19
allan06aero9-3 ![]() | Don't forget the Datsun on the far left | 2016-09-07 07:11
allan06aero9-3 ![]() | Yup. They opened the aft portion of the third seat bay, alas to find no spare because it's in the rust-away side hump under the right rearmost window. I loved this movie as an '80s kid and when we first saw it, afterwards walked out to my folk's '87 Parisienne Safari wagon in the Niagara Falls Theater (Scummit Mall) parking lot with a touch of envy since my Dad ordered our B-body twin with wood grain delete and spoke wheel covers instead of alloys or Rally II's. Lol. | 2016-09-07 07:08

BrentMosher420 ![]() | I think I can (barely) see a 3rd breaklight, so probably 1986-87. | 2015-07-12 02:40
G 24 Man ![]() | 1984 Chrysler Laser XE. It was the only model year the the XE had 14" aluminium wheels ( 85 and up were 15's ). And as well the Laser stripes also give the car away as the Daytona car line did not have both stripes it was upper or lower but not both, Upper and lower stripes that was for the Chrysler Laser XE only. |

2012-11-24 22:28 | ||
CougarTim ![]() | 1971-1973 Chevrolet Vega or, because it appears the sequence with the tow truck was filmed in Canada (see /vehicle_71431-GMC-General.html ), 1973 Pontiac Astre: http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4127/5006378287_16b21b3a60_z.jpg The area around the taillights looks dark, which is making me lean towards Astre. |
