61bubble USThis was my car from 1981 to 1996. Its a 1970, 350, 350hp, 4 speed.
I still have the plate... EWW-789. She ran a 13.82 ET at an outing to Rock Falls Raceway in Wisconsin.
Attached is a pic when I had it at BIR. 1971 Winnebago in the back.... I still have that.

Drujon a écrit Upon closer inspection, it's not a Marquis, nor is it a Lincoln. It's a late 70s LTD. It's not a Lincoln because of the canted forward C pillar and the bumper guards that rise above the bumper.

I agree

cko USwe've ruled out the Dodge 600/Plymouth Caravelle/Chrysler Lebaron? This looks a bit like an "E" car to me 2010-04-09 01:44
cieraguy USIt looks like the 1985 restyle and with the tail lights, I'm leaning toward the Plymouth Reliant version. 2010-04-08 22:51
cieraguy USWhy not a 1984? 2010-04-08 22:45
cieraguy USIt looks like it lacks them to me. 2010-04-08 22:45
night cub USIt also kind of looks like a 1977-1978 Chrysler Newport.

cko USI really think it's a Lincoln. The aforementioned Mercurys do not have the pointed Rolls-Royce style grille. The grille appears to go higher than the hood. The grille on the Cougar and Marquis ended BELOW the hoodline.I also considered a Mark VI but the rear window is too large. 2010-04-08 06:15
