sixcyl FRInteresting comments, thank's Buc84 :) ... I never realized that the logo of Magirus-Deutz stood for a stylized Munster Cathedral!
I've been in Ulm , in 2001 and went on top of Munster Cathedral spire. Indeed it says that its spire is the highest in the world.... obviously, from there we have a 360° view of Ulm city, and my daughter who was 6 years old at this time said " oh one can say its a Playmobil town" :D

antp BESome day when I will have time I'll improve the handling of the trim names, but currently I have no time at all :/ 2007-05-21 22:54
sixcyl FRI think, adding Berline is not convenient in the name for most of the models (whatever the makes), except on pre WWII cars, when many different categories of bodies were built (berline, conduite intérieure, torpédo, coupé ..etc)
About "Break", "Familiale", "Commerciale", "Estate", "Station Wagon" ,"Coupé", etc.... I keep on thinking that this version MUST integrate the model name

antp wrote Usually the trim level should go in the extra info, so it would be displayed as GSA Break Spécial or GSA Break Club... is it a problem actually?

No, that is also possible, although it will mess up the sort :( (GSA Club - GSA Club Break -> GSA Break Club - GSA Club)
Further, if we call cars Break shouldn't we call them 'Berline' aswell?

DynaMike NLThe building in the background is the 'Cineac' cinema, built in 1934 by J. Duiker, Reguliersbreestraat, Amsterdam. Nowadays the street is only for pedestrians and tramways. 2007-05-21 04:26
DynaMike NLNo, I've never ever seen a Ford Taunus as a police car in Holland (I did in Germany, in Cologne). Btw.why should it be a 2000? 2007-05-21 04:11
DynaMike NLThis must be Amsterdam (because of typical design of the garbadge bin), probably Damrak (between Central Station and Dam-square) though it has changed a lot ever since... 2007-05-21 04:08

Buc84 USRemember those Magirus-Deutz trucks well.1972-75 I lived in the town those were built in (Ulm/Neu Ulm,(West)Germany....former home of Wiley Kaserne..US Army base, closed 1991-92?) The emblem on it is a stylized version of the Munster Cathedral in Ulm,it was(may still be?)the tallest in the world. The place they built the cabs was right off the road to the base commissary!(Army for "Supermarket") 2007-05-20 18:00
Buc84 USA 25 yr old retired(I'd guess it is by now?)police car, still on the road, that's pretty good? Most Ex-Police units are lucky to make half that!!! (In the states, many end up used as taxis & get used up fast & hard.) 2007-05-20 17:41

Yes, that is also possible, but that will mess up the other Breaks listed. I cannot identify the extact type on this. It could be a GSA Break, GSA Spécial Break or GSA Club Break....
