1962300 ![]() | The 1967 Wildcat was my car. I was hired as an extra on that film, "Once Bitten", and they wanted to add the scene of a couple doing it in the back seat with the top down....so they paid me extra for the use of my Wildcat that night. It was the first car I ever bought, for $675 out of Garden Grove, CA. I rebuilt the engine, painted and upholstered it by the time the movie came along. I eventually sold it and would like to buy it back now! It went to Celina, Ohio. Albert.....if you read this, still have it and want to sell it back, contact me! Matt |

philr ![]() | The one you showed in the link is a base model (46467). |
2008-02-17 01:04 | ||
philr ![]() | It's a 1967 Wildcat Custom but both the Custom and base models had the chrome spear on their hood. And the number 48467 refers to the Electra 225 Custom convertible, the Wildcat Custom Convertible has the model number 46667. The differences between the base and Custom models were inside the car, the base Wildcat shared most of it's interior with the LeSabre Custom, the Wildcat Custom had a more luxurious interior. This picture shows enough of the interior to identify this one as a Wildcat Custom. I used to have a 1967 Wildcat hardtop coupe in base trim. -- Last edit: 2008-02-17 01:02:44 |

fck ![]() | the same i think | 2008-02-16 20:42
58Roadmaster ![]() | Yes, Wildcat Custom Convertible 48467. The only other 67 with that grille is the Skylark GS. Two differences (1) the Skylark GS has hood scoops, the Wildcat Custom has a chrome spear disecting the hood. (2) The front bumper notches up just below the headlights higher than the middle part of the bumper, the Skylark GS bumper keeps the same elevation throughout. | 2008-02-16 20:37

rpcm ![]() | It's, indeed, by the shape of the front indicator that we can date it. Nevertheless, the lack of the crescent-shaped grille near the rear side window identifies a 1970 model. | 2008-02-16 20:17
garco ![]() | Quattro in Europe but US? | 2008-02-16 20:10 |
