Weasel1984 ![]() | It didn't work this way. First MBs also had mirrors attached to front wall. Then in 1972 in both, MB and HH, they have been moved to doors. Early MB: /vehicle_310823-Mercedes-Benz-L-206-D-L70-1970.html Anyway the one in movie is 1969-70 (early 1971) Hanomag-Henschel of course. -- Last edit: 2015-09-29 22:50:40 |

Lennart ![]() | It´s a Hanomag. MB had the mirroros mounted on the doors. | 2015-09-29 22:09

zodiac ![]() | The bent exhaust pipe in the first thumb identifies it as a 144. The wider rear lamps means 1973+. I can't see if it has the bigger bumpers. |

ingo ![]() | But extremely common. It's really a more rare sight, to see a German Porsche's plate WITHOUT the model number... |

dsl ![]() | 1977+ (for rear wiper) 911 Carrera with wide body pimping. If anyone thinks the engine has a turbo, it can happily change to a Turbo [930]. Nice plate. | 2012-07-25 00:08
Sandie ![]() | 1981+ black running strip. I'd be tempted to say it has black pillars which were 1984+ but not a clear pic for that. | 2012-04-19 21:44

Cpt Tuttle ![]() | It looks like it has vent windows and the hubcaps looks older... I'd say 1973 164 or 144. | 2008-07-03 23:35

DynaMike ![]() | That was my first idea, but the rear lights are lower on a Derby. Cf http://feulner.de/Peter/Derby.htm Edit Oops, Entschuldigung... That's a Derby I; the Derby II is quite similar indeed: http://www.hejwesele.pl/zdjecie.php?p=img_big/3_6.JPG -- Last edit: 2007-08-23 20:18:54 |

Ingo ![]() | @Buc84: a German licence plate is only valid, when the silver sticker is undamaged. When you cancel the registration, the authority scratched off that sticker. Afterwards with the plate you can make, what you want. | 2007-08-23 18:39
Sunbar ![]() | Black rear panel on a light coloured car suggests a Granada to me as higher spec. However cannot rule out a Consul....... (Consul GT had a black rear panel I guess.) -- Last edit: 2007-08-23 18:20:15 |

rpcm ![]() | I would say it's a Golf I ( by the shape of the front door, the rear wheel arch black protection and the lack of the C-pillar circular vent ). | 2007-08-23 01:21

Raul1983 ![]() | I think there was a good idea in this movie. Jürgen Prochnow (!) is a car engineer and designs a new revolutionary electric car which doesn't need fuel and goes over 150km/h. Bad oil sheiks try to steal the car from him at all cost. In reality the film was a little boring to watch. Quality of this DVD was awful.![]() Jürgen Prochnow ![]() To finance his invention Ralph Korda (Prochnow) has to co-operate with a car manufacturer. A fictional car make BAG (Berlin Automobile Group) promises to developed his car. 'BAG' headquarters and factory ![]() 'BAG' dealer ![]() Strangely 'BAG' cars are Mitsubishi products! Mitsubishi Colt, Lancer and Galant with a modified grilles are outside the factory. However inside the factory they are making Volkswagen Golf II sheetmetals. Also another car (a sedan, see picture elsewhere) was made. ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-08-22 22:11:10 |

Raul1983 ![]() | "In a complex story of automotive intrigue, oil barons, corporate finance, and international villainy, the inventor of an environmentally friendly car powered by energy cells becomes the target of killers. After Ralph Korda has given his patented worldcar to a German automaker for testing, he is confronted by ominous men, eager to get their hands on his patent. Evil Arab petroleum lords also want to stop this threat to the gasoline market any way they can." -- Last edit: 2007-08-22 21:52:07 |
