knghtmat wrote Actually the white bumper sticker says (Rock N roll is here to stay it will never die).

Another reference to Christine. The song playing when she was crushed by the bulldozer is called Rock & Roll is here to stay by Danny & The Juniors. While I like the reference, I still think it's a sin to put any kind of sticker on the actual body of a car.

Weasel1984 PLOn the other hand it was indeed badged as "Spider 2.0" at the back (and "Spider Veloce" at the fender, later also at the back) - anyway it definitely looks like the "Spider" became the main name after the 1983 facelift and the 2000 was shortened to 2.0... IMHO in such form like we have listed them now, it is not very accurate in case of the 80s version. Let alone, that most of the European ones are listed as "Spider 2.0" and even some US ones of this era are as "Alfa Romeo Spider".
Is there any reason why the US "Veloce" model is called this way at the site?

tonkaTRACKER USThat is indeed an older North Carolina plate, and somewhat of a rare one also. Instead of the normal "First in Flight" (which has been on our plates since 1982) on the top of the plate that one says "First in Freedom" These plates were issued in 1975. (NC was the first state to declare it's independence from England in 1775)

plate looks like This

Commander 57 USThe thumbnail rear shot provides a good lesson on '57 vs '58 fin designs. On the '57, the taillamps run all the way up the fins.
I like the '57 design better and it looks more striking at night.
The '58 fins have a superfluous look while the '57's appears to be a better integrated design to me.

On the other hand, the '58 front has a superior looking, better balanced apppearance in my opinion.

Mycroft USI was looking at this car, trying to see if I could tell it wasn't a "Fury" or Belvedere customized for the movie Christine.
Minor thing here... but I think this car has single exhaust instead of duals. That might prove it isn't.
