Baube QCbut i still think some of the rust is not..original.. 2019-07-09 18:46
dhill_cb7 US1978-1979 mirrors.

@reg1992
A comment by a veteran member (sorry I think it was JFS) on here explained to me that in the 70's trucks and vans were not anti-corroded like vehicles today. I was surprised to see a 3 year old chevy truck from the early 70s with rust on it.

tom11So, due to the grill it should be listed as GMC Vandura, right? 2012-05-13 22:11
rjluna2 USIndeed, it has the GMC grille. Perhaps Vandura? :think: 2012-04-04 18:26
tom11Rather GMC with this grill, I can also see something red in the middle of the grill. 2012-04-04 18:15

antp BEYes, but maybe it would be better to indicate it with for example a "(del)" in episode field, or something like that?
Note that sometimes deleted scenes fall in "director's cut" or "long" editions. Cf Terminator II or Lethal Weapon movies where I added some cars that were not in the original version...

car nerd USWalter, the Autoweek article you have posted does indeed call the US version a "wagon" but I recall the "Avant" moniker being used right from the introduction of this model. 2007-03-23 22:31

cieraguy US86... sedan production overlapped the Taurus because Ford was worried consumers wouldn't like the modern styling. The LTD was kept around that year as a fall back. 2007-03-23 21:07

walter ITSo that's a 5000 Wagon, because the station version of the 5000 was called Wagon and not Avant 2007-03-22 13:22
ahight USI thought wagons were Avants. They show the back as he walks from around the corner - and it has 3 wide side windows from the view above. It even had the spoiler like this: /vehicle_4307-Audi-200-Avant-Typ-44-1987.html

Ddey65 US1980-83. I don't know if it's specifically an F-9000, but it's has to be a pretty heavy medium-duty F-series to be used as an armored car.
