Yes, filmed in Norway. But why do you doubt that? That company was active worldwide and and has produced in many countries (in Germany since 1909)

mike962 DEit could also be one of the hords of german tractors , a better shot of the engine hood and grill would be really needed it

Bø-Viks NOdont know how this one should be listed here because it is an Mercedes Benz and the body shell is made by Binz, but a Norwegian company VBK converted it into an Ambulanse, they also did some body work on it. All VBK ambulances (ambulanser) of that time are given the name Rescueline, but that is only the name of the ambulanceconvertion not the car or the body. 2013-07-24 14:47

ddgonzal USYes, Datsun 1200 (B110). Probably a Deluxe (DL) model. Movie is apparently from Norway. The chrome on the trunk/boot lid was optional in USA, and not too commmon. They all had the clear reverse lights. 2011-04-02 01:54

Bø-Viks wrote I have never seen them badged with Consul in Norway, only with the Cortina badge.

Update - see /vehicle_281408-Opel-Kapitan-1956.html - 1962+ Cortina behind has bonnet badge with only 6 letters.

Bø-Viks wrote Guess you are rigth but I have never seen them badged with Consul in Norway, only with the Cortina badge.

The bonnet badge always says Consul as far as I know until the Sept 64 facelift. If it said Cortina for Norway - or anywhere else -before Sept 64, I'd be very interested in confirmation.

Series with this design was actually usually called F(number) in brochures -> http://www.mijnautofolders.nl/Daf.htm

EDIt: I change my mind, after comparing some photos, I think it can be 1600 as well. [FA] if "simple truck" like it is listed or [FT], if tractor (it looks very short on this pic).
