Raul1983 FIThis is the only license plate in the movie which still exists with the correct car. It is indeed a 1969 Fury III. 2012-09-03 09:43
chicomarx BEIt was a bold move based on the shiny bits. I thought the lower versions had all black plastic. 2012-09-02 01:32

rjluna2 USNow, here is the question. Which one usually sold in Finland market: Chevrolet or GMC? 2012-09-01 21:23
rjluna2 US@ingo: You are not alone with this shitty regulation  In our country, we have a regular incandescent 100 Watts high lumens ban in effective this year. We can still get 100 Watts bulb with no problem as long it is rough service or speciality bulbs which it translates into lower lumens rating than the regular bulbs. You should see all the blog they have at the www.lighting-gallery.net website ranting about those light bulbs ban. :p 2012-09-01 21:20
BeanBandit FIThe translation of the word would be 'textile shop'. 2012-09-01 20:29
ingo DEThe actual engery-saving bulbs are even worse than the classic ones (oh, not to forget: @rjluna2: since today, the 1.September 2012, regular bulbs are forbidden in the EU. Only energy saving-bulbs are allowed).
They shall have several thousands of hours as lifetime - bullshit! Especially when you often switch them on and off, they get broken very soon. I cannot count, how many energy saving bulbs, I have changed in our house. When we bought it in 2008, we had mounted them everywhere. IIRC I had changed more than 80% since that time. And they are fucking expensive! Plus the environmental problems, they contain quicksilver, plumb and other unhealthy stuff (the most of that things stay in the bodies of the workers and in the fields and rivers around their factories, somehwere in China...)
Well, I must admit, that I'm stingy with them and purchase the special offer-bulbs at IKEA or other bargain furniture shops. But even there you cannot get them for less than 3 € per piece. A premium branded bulb can cost in a special store up to 7-8 €, so around 10 $ !!

ingo DEYes, the Finnish made Saabs were regularly exported, as the Swedish, too. The only specific export item, I remember, was for all countries except Scandinavia: when you start the engine, the headlights will not automatically beam up, as it's common for those countries. 2012-09-01 14:09

Phil Leon DEHey, rjluna2 - sorry if it is off topic - but did you know about this bulb?
http://www.centennialbulb.org/index.htm
I just saw the link in an article from GMX. I mean - this bulb is real quality! Some of the bulbs that I changed in my house lasted for a few months. And they were new.
