1970 Montego Sedan ![]() | Even though this style of impala was 81-85, Snookie is right and I have proof, The style of CA License plate on it was first used in 1982 and I checked, Also vehicles keep the plate they were first registered with meaning that if it started out with a blue plate it wouldn't have been changed to a white and gold, which makes this a 1982 model and even though it crashed probably even a real police car at the time as everything matches a real BHPD 1986 caprice which probably wouldn't have changed much in style from the impala, the plates do match the vehicle, so lets make this a "1982 Chevrolet Impala 9C1" ![]() |

Skid ![]() | I was just watching that video as well. Apparently it was used here first, then used on Hardcastle & McCormick before ultimately becoming an A-Team van. | 2022-12-29 23:55
jason3fc ![]() | According to the Knight Rider Historians in a video posted on 12/28/2022 - This Van is a former A-Team van. It was verified by their records from Vista, which supplied vehicles to Universal, and both A-Team and Beverly Hills Cop. | 2022-12-29 01:27
geop ![]() | I worked on Astro's when they were in service,I laughed out loud at the theater when i saw this scene ! I had a Astro come in with an exhaust leak and it turned out the cab mount the front spring mount and the radiator mount shared the same 4 bolts . The truck was backed into in a parking lot causing the cab to shift and pulled the exhaust stack away from the turbo pipe. | 2022-09-04 03:01

4x4peru ![]() | The CJ7 debuted in '76 however this looks like an '82-'83 CJ7 Laredo package with the chrome wheels and silver body stripe. Has the '82+ wide track axles. | 2020-08-26 20:51

dhill_cb7 ![]() | It is a ‘66 F-250. ‘65-‘66 fender emblem. ‘66 style emblem. The F-350+ used a straight full floating axle 1961-1966. That badge says twin i beam which only came on the 100/250. It most certainly lacks flared wheel arches of Medium Duty models. |

Skid ![]() | Pretty sure this is a '69. The fender louvers were available in 1969 and 1970, but it has the '69 side marker lights on both front fenders and the pre-'70 front bumper. | 2020-04-07 06:42

karoomay ![]() | Not to mention that I had already posted most of the images of the cars that were too background in the movie comments. | 2019-08-15 03:27
night cub ![]() | @robi - Avoid posting pictures of vehicles that are seen for an extremely short time (for example: can only be seen in a frame by frame advance of the movie). Do not post very small pictures of background vehicles (note: 90 pixels wide for a 720 pixels image is about the limit for useful pictures of most background cars). |
