Gag Halfrunt UKMade under licence in Taiwan:
Quote Vespa has had various partnerships and presence in Taiwan. In 1965 Taiwan Vespa Co. Ltd was licensed for Vespa scooter production. From 1972 to 1982 Vespa entered into a collaboration with manufacturer PGO. In 1978 Vespa entered into a collaboration with TGB, which to some extent, continues to this day (namely with CVT transmission production).

Gag Halfrunt UKThis is Taiwan (not mainland China) in 1983, so it's either an original Honda, a licensed Taiwanese copy or an unauthorised Taiwanese copy. 2015-09-14 01:47
Gag Halfrunt UKI think the two coaches in the background are Mercedes-Benz O303s. They're a bit easier to see in the cinema. :) 2015-09-14 01:38

That is simply the logo of Taiwan Public Transport not any manufacturer logo.

cko USIt was locally made so it probably was a pretty common car in its day. Sadly, anything this age is more or less extinct in Taiwan, except maybe a few Benzes. 2014-10-02 03:35
Weasel1984 PLYes, but it is dfferent than the already listed for this movie 805. Who knows maybe, despite Yue Loong production there were some Nissans, or the visible details maybe can make it different model of Yue Loong than the 805... 2014-10-01 18:51

Ans AUWell, if this is filmed in Taiwan, Nissan didn't export there as Yue Loong built it locally under license. According to Wiki (which could be wrong), Gloria's weren't made by YLN so I think the 805 was based off the Cedric.

Weasel1984 PLThis one is a bit problematic. Chinese Wikie says, that San Fu started to make Subaru Sambar clones in 1978 under the name "San Fu Èbà". HOWEVER what we see on the pic looks like 1973-1977 Sambar. It means that San Fu in 1978 took over the older design of Subaru (withdrawn in Japan) OR Wiki is incomplete (or badly translated by translator) and they did Sambar clones already before 1978... 2014-10-01 00:20
Weasel1984 PL[*]:

Later local modification of the license Subaru Sambar. Translated Chinese Wiki calls it "Good luck 600" or just "600", then again with help of Google Translator you get that this "Good Luck" written in Chinese, phonetically is "Haoyùn". :D So it is what we have here.
