There is a certain blurr which looks like a vertically positioned indicator.

We can narrow this down to 1971. This vertical indicator had to be introduced during this year. Early HH's still had the horizontal one (like in 1967-69 Hanomags), then among the 1971 factory materials it is possible to meet both, old horizontal ones and new vertical. In 1972 we see only vertical.
Examples:
1) 1971-1
2) 1971-2
3) 1971-2
3) 1972
4) 1972

EDIT: Another two things I didn't notice before (e.g. on the linked pics above) are:
- 1st is the position of the rear view mirrors - 1969-71/72 cars had them placed on the front wall and 1972+ on the doors. Same change was made in this time in Mercedeses.
- 2nd is the grille, looking at the period materials, adverts etc., we can see that since 1973 modified grille was used, where the black plastic surrounded the headlights from every side, it also covered the headlamps holders, which in older cars were body colored metal parts of the front wall. Below I did comparison pic on example of MB (they had these changes in the same time):
[Image: w84mbhar.jpg]
Old = till 1973, new = since 1973.
