francisharley wrote Les sacoches et les repose-pieds me font penser à une Harley Electra Glide

transexl wrote I do not speak/write french, but the panniers (sacoches) do not seem like Harley-items to me - did they not have leaning rear sides ?
So a Suzuki like other police-bikes in the movie ?

jpts AUI saw the documentary on the making of the film, the film crew used real BBQ chickens in the scene and the documentary mentioned that the film crew had help from the homeless community with the cleanup.

eLMeR MH1964-66 model, in fact, due to the windshield: the cab, made from the main part of the one of the medium- and heavy-duty conventional models, got the new windshield in 1964 too. 2015-04-30 01:35
eLMeR MHThe 90in BBC complement is useless, as all B-Model trucks have this cab length...
Made by GMC from 1960 to 1966. But also by Chevrolet as E/W-80 trucks from 1962 to 1966. The B-Model name already exits in the IMCDb, is (sometimes) used in the GMC literature and by fans sites and would help not to confuse with the 1966+ bus line.
So, if sure of the GMC make:

1960 GMC B-Model (without anything more)?

ouatedephoque CAThis movie was shot in California in 1983. I'm not aware of Suzukis being used there as police bikes at that time. In '83,if they were not Harleys, police bikes would usually be Kawasaki KZ1000P's. I might be wrong (quite possible!), but I think this Suzuki is a one-off motorcycle made specifically for this movie. If the bike was to be crashed (I haven't seen the movie!), I doubt the production company would have been able to get a real police loaner bike. And, why does the "cop" or stuntman have his foot resting on the engine case and not on the floorboard?

CougarTim USWithout the Vista Cruiser roof, it could be an F-85 or a Cutlass. The Cutlass had a bit of trim on the side, but I can't tell if this car has that or not (looking for photos, it seems like non-Vista '67 Olds wagons are functionally extinct).

But in the thumbnail and at /vehicle_592275-Buick-Skylark-1968.html it kinda looks like it has the Vista roof with the glass painted over. Comments?
