dhill_cb7 ![]() | Hard to tell but I believe that is the 1963-1967. | 2023-01-19 01:50

Vahmp ![]() | That is a modified Honda XR. Look at the other unmodified Honda XR, on the Automan page. You will see the same exhaust, wheels (without covers) side cover panels and tank. |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | Fender badge came in 1982. Also, the 3/4 tonner could be extended back then too. Without a plate this is a moot point. |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | Elongated head lamp bezels were 1973-1979 traits. | 2020-06-12 08:16
dhill_cb7 ![]() | Actually a 1979. 1978 Custom have circular headlamps. Black molding and lack of chrome trim negate the higher trimmed models. |

Gamer ![]() | This is the one I was looking at, I forgot to link it: Link to "www.mecum.com" It came up when I was googling Elite’s Duesenbergs, which explains the mistake. -- Last edit: 2019-12-11 23:27:02 |

AnimatronixX ![]() | @Gamer I don't think it is. All the Elite Heritage cars I could find are boattail speedster cars or Dual Cowl phaetons or sedans of some sort, all without "Continental Kit" (I use that term because we're not talking about original Duesenbergs anyway). My bid would be something like these: 1971 Duesenberg SSJ Roadster Replica or 1935 (1974) Duesenberg Model SSJ Speedster Replica, both supposedly caused by the Duesenberg Corp. of Gardena, later Inglewood, California. Here's more info on that company (if you don't speak German, this is your moment to start with it...). ![]() It appears like these are not "Duesenberg II", but another "Duesenberg" instead - and the same probably goes for some of these. So how are we going to list it and the others in question? ![]() Edit: That looks to be a Duesenberg II by the Elite Heritage Motors Corp. /vehicle_45801-Duesenberg-II-SJ-1979.html -- Last edit: 2019-12-11 22:41:26 |

Gamer ![]() | It is indeed a Duesenberg - just not a real one. Not a lot of Doozy replicas with moon wheels available - I believe this is a 'Duesenberg II' built by the Elite Heritage Motors Corp. of Elroy, Wisconsin. The picture seems to be slightly stretched, the resemblance is closer if we recompress it a bit. |

JR0d32 ![]() | If all the cop cars in Smokey and the Bandit would have stayed MOPAR and not Pontiac this would have been Buford's car gott he same door decal design just need blue lights and root beer brown paint job; or go with the two tone greenish black and white like on movie poster. | 2016-12-25 04:50

blue_thunder ![]() | This scene is stock footage from the movie "The Driver", very well visible in the opening http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lloeUkQ1m8. So should be listed as '74 Galaxie 500 (/vehicle_10055-Ford-Galaxie-500-53F-1974.html). | 2013-01-29 19:03
dsl ![]() | Cabrio with hanging fogs is 83 only SC. | 2012-12-14 06:21
dsl ![]() | If this is a Turbo, it's 75 my only as no lower black cladding. 76+ Pimped Carrera feels safer - I don't see Turbo periscope headlamp washers. | 2012-12-14 06:05
dsl ![]() | Pimping prevents anything more precise than 74 Carrera. We use 930 for Turbo only but it does appear in some sources for 76+ Carrera; 74+ big bumper range (including 74-75 Carrera) all started with 918 code (which lasted until 78 when lesser versions dropped; Carrera became SC at this point which continued the 930 usage through the 84 return to Carrera name until the 89/90 phase in of 964). So there is an argument for broadening 930 on accuracy grounds, but I guess a bigger argument that it would cause too much chaos with our existing stock, and not many people notice at the moment. | 2012-12-14 06:02

an_unusual_eye ![]() | hey... that's my car in 130rapid's link for verification ~ though it wasn't mine yet when that picture was taken. i'd say the captured car is also a Performance Package, with the spoilers... it's hard to tell in the picture, but looks to have the lower lip on the front, and ~ as they say ~ these things come in pairs. there's a copy of the magazine ad from 1981 for the Performance Package cars thumbnailed here... /vehicle_419322-Toyota-Celica-Supra-MA47-1981.html |

cudak888 ![]() | Front and rear bumpers narrow it down to 1975 at earliest, which eliminates the Satellite. Seeing as it has no "Fury" badge on the side, it could be argued that it is either a 1975-76 Dodge Coronet or 1977-78 Dodge Monaco. -Kurt |
