shlc647 ![]() | I got to go with night cub on this one because I can see what he is talking about in the main picture, took me a bit to figure out what it was. | 2016-04-20 00:18
night cub ![]() | Thank you for proving my point. The taillights are most definitely 1968. The sidemarker used on the 1968 models is a very tiny round one, which is seen in the picture (it's the tiny blot between the bumper and taillight) | 2016-04-20 00:15
supcoach ![]() | 1967 - http://www.puresimplicity.net/~hemi/Pics/Cars/valiant/ 1968 - Link to "www.cargurus.com" 1968's also have side marker lamps. This car does not, hence a 1967. |

nzcarnerd ![]() | I think this is the 1906 Adams Farwell Model 6 that, according to this article - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adams-Farwell - is the only surviving example of the make. Here it is at Pebble Beach in 2011 - Link to "www.ultimatecarpage.com" Seems they still own it - Link to "beforeitsnews.com" -- Last edit: 2016-04-19 23:18:40 |

nzcarnerd ![]() | Note the electric powered Red Bug in the lower left corner. The manufacture of these went through several different ownerships and there were both petrol and electric versions. The electric motor is the same North East unit as used by Dodge as a starter. Here is a link the Harrah's machine - https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3075/3095442049_4c2a77e79e_z.jpg?zz=1 - the date of 1928 suggesting it is one of the last built. This is an earlier petrol powered one - https://www.flickr.com/photos/jacksnell707/3095442159/in/photostream/ -- Last edit: 2016-04-19 23:03:58 |
