tknage DK2-door turbo came in '79. In '80 the "turbo" logo was changed to a new style. This car has the old, so it must be a '79 year model. 2018-08-12 13:44

Odysseios ITIn Italy the 2cv4 was available with the square headlights and in a sort of Club version, while the so-called "Club" was never available in Italy.
This beautiful colour is the "jaune cédrat".

ingo DE:think: a Chrysler 180 behind it?

The location can be the bridge over the Dortmund-Ems-Kanal on the A2, nearby the junction Dortmund-Nordwest.

ingo DEAlso to see: a military Unimog S 404 and -always a bit rare in Germany- the lighter Volvo-truck (of this all-European-model, sorry, I forgot the correct name) from this company: http://www.kn-portal.com/ 2010-12-13 21:15
ingo DEThere are at least two different Volvo N12 appearing in this movie - in the second last scene of the movie, on the ferry in Italy, there it a RHD-version. Which indicates, that the story has not ended... 2010-12-13 21:12
electra225 ITSorry: watching the small picture send by antp in which the facia is visible by the open sunroof, I was wrong: it is tha facia of a 500F/500R, but, since steering wheel and instrument are from a 500 R, and only the wheel are different, I would bet now for a 500 R ! 2009-12-28 23:14
electra225 ITThe balck plastic facia or cockpit seems that of the 500 L and is a thing more unusual to chamge. Hubcaps are of the 500 F, but wheels are ivory painted, as ultill mid 1959 in Italy and for more years abroad...
A cocktail: A would bet a 500 F

ingo DEVery Swiss-stylish, the scenery. :D 2009-05-20 20:34
ingo DEThe location on the right thumbnail is the Autobahn-gas station Hamm-Rhynern on the A2 from Dortmund to Hannover and Berlin. It's original from the 30ies. Nowadays it's a preserved building. In the last months the whole Autobahn and this rest-area was rebuilt, but this house has to be saved. So it's still there. But the gas-pumps are now at the modern station. 2009-05-20 20:32

rjluna2 USShould be listed as 1978 or later SAAB 99 Turbo. Larger taillight, larger door mirror design, TURBO inscription on the hood and unique wheel design for Turbo model only. 2007-06-20 03:27

DynaMike NL2CV 6 indeed (the 2CV 4 was never available withe the square headlights) in Club version. This colour (Jaune Cédrat) was available from September 1975 till September 1978, so this car can be called a 1976 Citroën 2CV 6 Club. 2007-05-24 01:34

rpcm PTActually, the four headlights indicate the S version, being it 1300 or 1600. The engine capacity was only seen in a badge on the rear wings and on each side of the car. On the left of the rear numberplate, there's a FIAT 131 S badge and on the right a Mirafiori one. 2007-05-23 23:33

antp a écrit Indeed it looks like it is written "Matra" on the left (then Simca for the other part). I though that it was written "Talbot" when I first saw this picture.

1977 to 1979:Matra Simca Rancho

1980 to 1982:Talbot Matra Rancho

PS In Italy were marketed as Ranch, without a "o" at end of term
