fromthesouthwest  | totally agreed with atom, I have a "1999" B5 2.5 TDI (delivered late october 1998 but registered as 1999 model). And no facelift, headlight etc. 2000-01 models are lifted (but construction-delivery started in 1999) |

atom  | No, as it also have windscreen washer nozzles placed on the bonnet, something the old cars had but not the facelifted one. After searching around a bit on the world wide web I have found that these A4s are called "1999 non-facelift B5" by their owners. If you read the german wikipedia article it says that the facelift was introduced early 1999, meaning that it wasn't presented for the 1999 MY and thus there was some A4s made for and in the 1999 MY without the facelift. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_A4_B5 |
