ianmax69 ![]() | Wasn't there once a Mitchelin Tyre advert that must have been inspired by this "Two Faces of Evil" episode ?...It featured a Morris Ital Estate with a family driving through the woods in rainsoaked night where evil Viking raiders on horseback are coming out from the trees,, which turned out to be some huge artic truck coming the other way and they pull up just in time... | 2015-11-21 02:07

ingo ![]() | Looks like a horribly "repaired" crash car - a total wreck! It's distorted at the front and the back, the back fender is smeared with paint (you cannot tell this repainted), even the rims got some orange and the vents in the C-pillar, too (weren't the originally black plastic or even chrome?) O.k., the Marina had a worst reputation about its quality (distorted, not fitting bodyparts and bad paintwork were mentioned in all German test reports about it), but I doubt, that it was that bad, as we can see it here. |

Sandie ![]() | I'm not sure that Classic should be listed as a chassis code at all to be honest. I agree with what you say Chris but think for those models it should be listed as part of the model name. | 2012-05-29 20:25
chris40 ![]() | Wikipedia says The first generation model was known as the Range Rover until almost the end of its run, when Land Rover introduced the name Range Rover Classic to distinguish it from its successors. IIRC the Classic name applied only to run-out 1st generation Range Rovers made between the introduction of the P38s and 1996. They were all 5-doors. |
