dhill_cb7 ![]() | ^^ couldn’t it be a late registered 1999 though? Or registered from a different partnof Aus and the brought over and registered in 2000? Always scares me when someone says plate issued xx/xx/xxxx. Unless of course there is no chance of a reregistered or late registered vehicle. |

Z2 ![]() | Most likely 2000+ due to the new Victoria "The Place To Be" plates (introduced in October 2000). Looks like "Ti" trim due to roof racks and colour-coded bumpers. -- Last edit: 2023-01-06 00:34:47 |

MisterZ ![]() | 2001+ facelift due to updated (larger) composite headlights, clear side repeater, and new alloy wheel design. These large composite headlights were available on overseas market models since 1996, but not in Australia until the 2001 facelift, and even then, only on GLS models. In the 2004 facelift, they were finally made standard on all Triton models, even base GL models. There were only 2 trims on double cab models: GLX and GLS. This one is a GLS due to the alloys, chrome mirrors, two-tone paint, and the composite headlights. -- Last edit: 2020-10-03 22:43:55 |

MisterZ ![]() | Considering this car is central to the plot, I was surprised there weren't any better shots of it in the movie. Although we never get a clear shot of the badge at the rear, the real life (deceased) King-Wales couple owned an E320 so I am making an assumption here. This is the only other photo I was able to get of the car in the movie: -- Last edit: 2013-10-30 21:37:28 |
