Commander 57 ![]() | The link shows amber turn signal lenses. Does anyone know what year Checker switched from clear to amber lenses? This is the only way to narrow it down absent a rear view. | 2019-07-09 14:46
dhill_cb7 ![]() | Here is the front seen in a different page: /vehicle_426588-Chevrolet-Impala-Super-Sport-1965.html - not sure if that will help place a year on it. | 2019-07-09 12:53

cudak888 ![]() | No Mark V ever carried such a badge under the fender louvers. Trim, color, and interior options are the only way to tell the three years apart. There were no external badge variations of any kind. Ironically enough, the torn-off trim (see below) indicates that the beige car was gray to begin with, and painted beige for the movie. This also explains the bright pink Mark V also used in this movie: ![]() -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-03-14 16:59:02 (antp) |

130rapid ![]() | 1974-1975 only. | 2011-10-07 21:19
cudak888 ![]() | No Mark V ever carried the script you speak of in that location - not a stock Mark V, anyway. Applies for all years, 1977-1979. The only external "MARK V" badge that the Mark V wears is on the right side of the trunk. Said quarter panel badge was used on the Mark IV only. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2011-09-28 03:38:36 |
