somename a écrit Yes; thank you very much. As it does not have the Mark V script under the louvers, it is a 77 or 79, given the date of release, I think it's safe to call it a 77.

No Mark V ever carried such a badge under the fender louvers.

Trim, color, and interior options are the only way to tell the three years apart. There were no external badge variations of any kind.

Ironically enough, the torn-off trim (see below) indicates that the beige car was gray to begin with, and painted beige for the movie. This also explains the bright pink Mark V also used in this movie:

somename a écrit Release date of Feb. 9 almost certainly eliminates 79 models, and as it does not have the Mark V script under the louvers, I think we can safely say it is a 77, model 65D.

No Mark V ever carried the script you speak of in that location - not a stock Mark V, anyway. Applies for all years, 1977-1979. The only external "MARK V" badge that the Mark V wears is on the right side of the trunk.

Said quarter panel badge was used on the Mark IV only.

See also the R10 at http://www.eurofilmcars.com/html/sedans.htm to prove this hybrid was used for US.
