zorglub CHSorry, it isn't a full size Ranch Wagon, but a mid size: Gran Torino Wagon from '74 to '76. Look at the shape of the taillamps, the sharp angles of the rear bumper with the particular rubber strips (forget the red reflectors installed on the bumper for the swiss homologation), the rear door goes up, the less high quarter window and the 14" wheels. 2016-01-03 12:15

sunny1600vr JPI think, it is Toyota Carina [TA10] (1970-1975).
It seems near the shape of the body and the feeling of a rear door Carina or more than Corolla [KE30].

Just for reference,

130rapid PLWhat about Toyota Carina? 2010-12-31 15:56
130rapid PLIt's something other because Corolla E30 should have air vent in rear fender. This car hasn't.
Rear bumper is too high mounted also.
Door handles are too close windows.

dsl SXAgree not a 1275 GT, but might be an unusual export edition with stripes (is it Swiss registered?). Also intrigued by the small badge in grille - would it read 1100 for the Oct75 engine upgrade on manual Clubmans? Or something else? 2010-10-15 18:27
dsl SXBlack rear panel = 1969my, has pillar badges so looks like a 1600E. Result! One of the 2741 1600E 2 doors produced in LHD only - 1083 at Dagenham, 1666 in Amsterdam from CKD kits for export into Europe - never sold in UK and all made 1969-70.

ingo DEYes, it's a converted former Bundespost-parcel-transporter. Very good for this use due the high roof -you can stand in it- and the fact, that the panel between the seats and the back is open, that you wan walk through. This was not possible for regular Transporter-versions.

These Post-transporter weren't only used for selfmade Camper-conversions, also ambulant ice-cream-dealers were/still are using them. Maybe this is the reason, why in Germany there were never coachbuilders, specialised in ice-cream-vans, different than in the UK.

@AnimatronixX: :hello: Have you ever heard anything about German made ice-cream-vans?
