fred1969 FRCitroën DS cabriolet 1960

https://www.guide-automobiles-anciennes.com/VOITURE/citroen-ds-cabriolet-701.htm

"Chapron began producing DS cabriolets in 1958 in small series (a few dozen vehicles per year) based on the sedan and without Citroën's approval. From 1960 onwards, the Citroën factory will manufacture its own models in parallel on the reinforced platform of the ID estate. These are the most common"

you still have this movie?, its ID is written above the engine, perhaps there is a better frame to read it ?

electra225 IT1970 Innocenti Mini Minor Mk3. The only one with new side windows but still without vent windows. 2011-03-29 15:51
medimanic GRThey lost not only their third side window but also a part of their standard equipment like the foamy steering wheel and the body color painted headlights (adopting the light grey ones of the H van). Trying to offer an ultra cheap 2CV and beat Renault 4 prices that were following very closely, Citroen maybe overeacted a little bit..! Economic gain was important though, there were old 2CV (2 window) bodys stocked that found customers with a minor adjustment to the rear end and the marketing of crashing prices proved to be very popular. :) 2010-04-17 10:07

Or "in front of the Sex Shop"?

medimanic GRAnd there is an also small Citroen LN to the extreme left. For the Innocenti there was always need of a BMC license for the use of the name Mini and they were buying also the basic organs but the body was designed by Nuccio Bertone.

johnfromstaffs ENInteresting that the white car parked behind the Mini is a type that has practically disappeared from sight, a Datsun 100A Cherry. 2009-03-21 16:07
avenger FIThe small car beside the Mercedes is Innocenti Mini. Not licence made BMC Mini, but design of their own. 2009-03-21 14:51
avenger FIIt´s Innocenti. No doubt about it. 2009-03-21 14:44
medimanic GRA real dream today.. and those factory cabrios are by far more desirable for me than a Chapron overdecorated version! 2009-03-21 09:23
medimanic GRI also think it's Innocenti, the black grille has also an orizontal chrome stripe in the middle but I'm not 100% positive neither.. 2009-03-21 08:57
DynaMike NLYes, Styleline DeLuxe Bel Air [2154]. Not sure about the year, though... 1950/51/52. 2009-03-21 01:27
DynaMike NLI'd think Innocenti, because of the black grille... But I'm no Mini-expert. 2009-03-20 23:57
ingo DENo, the car in front is a Renault 6, the car behind it is meant. It's a Mini anyways, the question is, if it's an Austin Mini, a Leyland Mini, a Morris Mini, a BMC Mini or so.
Annother example for a plenty of names for at least the same car. The last Mini's were named Rover Mini. The Spanish assembled was an Authi Mini, there were Italian made ones Innocenti Mini, etc.pp. ;)

DynaMike NLThis version was inofficially called 'Usine' (factory) and sold by Citroën dealers. It is true that these were built by Chapron, but normally the Chapron name is used only for special versions of the DS cabriolet that were not sold by the Citroën dealers.
By the hubcaps it has to be a 1966/67 model.
