When Rootes and Chrysler started to be distributed by Simca, they searched for new company to distribute. They distributed the marginal Jensen, Ghia and De Tomaso, but also Chris Craft boat. The founder discovered Mazda at 1967 Bruxelles motor show and started importing Mazda for 1968 model. In 1971, France Motors became a company of the TKM group. It also apllied for for the DSpécial, although that was never available as DS Spécial to my knowledge... They also had a GS Super around for a few years (Yugoslavian made model), they didn't apply the single letter spelling there... |
