chicomarx ![]() | Thanks, I've replaced it with a screenshot from episode 1.04. Although the wheels look the same to me. Old: ![]() |
2022-12-26 01:21 | ||
Moparguy1973 ![]() | The main photo is not from the series, and in fact, the car in the photo has the incorrect wheels. I've seen photos of this car before and I think I remember reading it was a TNN giveaway car from 1997-ish when they started re-airing the original series. |
2022-12-25 21:39 | ||
Moparguy1973 ![]() | The photo you posted is from one of the many Dukes club gatherings from a few years ago, not from the series itself. |
2022-12-25 21:37 | ||
Moparguy1973 ![]() | The general consensus (no pun intended) is that the series General Lee's were painted 1975 GM Flame Red (or a variation thereof). The 2005 movie General Lee's were painted AMC Big Bad Orange. |

mike962 ![]() | ah not with this SJW retarded bulls**t again General Lee himself was a known anti-slavery dude while some Union officers still had black slaves so it's not all black/white some professionaly offended like to spread in their empty meanigless life -- Last edit: 2022-10-13 17:44:48 |

Baube ![]() | its only recently that the General's flag has been into contoversy . Before that there was not such a big fuzz about it ( well, i'm not living in US, it might have been different over there before too ) . However, for sake of accuracy in a clone, i just can't figure a General Lee without the flag on top | 2022-10-13 17:37
ayba ![]() | What i'm saying is this car seems racist. |
2022-10-13 17:19 | ||
dhill_cb7 ![]() | The car is named after the Confederate General. General Lee. | 2022-10-13 15:01
ayba ![]() | Why does the roof have the confederate flag? This doesn't seem to be a great idea. |
2022-10-13 14:53 | ||
14stutz ![]() | Any consensus on the correct color? I have read many theories...AMC Orange, GM Orange...everything but MOPAR orange. |

sixtiesswing ![]() | And just as well!!!! |
2022-09-23 04:10 | ||
HunterMan ![]() | It also had blue interior...so obviously the original color was not maroon/burgundy. Also, I’m not sure why this has 4 stars?? As awesome as the car was, it was only in this 1 episode. |

night cub ![]() | Daisy gets the Jeep at the end of Episode 2.14 The Runaway. You can see it has the lowback seats, so it was originally a 1979. It was next seen in Ep 2.16: ![]() And checking later seasons, it still has the lowback seats: 4.04: 6.01: -- Last edit: 2022-01-21 03:03:15 |

night cub ![]() | That's not true, I have a whole list of changes. 1979 brought the slanted rollbar. 1980 brought highback seats. 1981 brought 3-point front seatbelts that are on the rollbar and revised taillights which eliminated the rear sidemarker. 1982 brought WideTrack. So you can tell differences between some of the years. This one should have extra pics to show things better, but we do not see highback seats in this particular pic. | 2022-01-20 08:33
14stutz ![]() | Agree CJ-5. For those who don't know, the longer CJ-7 has a square cut door opening, not like the "hump" on the back edge of the door like the CJ-5 shown here. |
2022-01-20 08:23 | ||
14stutz ![]() | Be careful about comments like above...you cannot tell a 79 from a 80 CJ-7. There were no visual differences between CJ-7s in their various years..aside from trim packages being offered one year and changed or dropped the next. Nothing changed on the CJ-7s until the introduction of the YJ series in 1986. |

tore-40 ![]() | A 1971 Super Beete used as a basis for the convertion, if they re-used the original engine cover Converted, but not a convertible (it only works once) |
2021-08-11 18:19 | ||
merman881969 ![]() | I knew for some reason that it was not an actual convertible but I: “makeshift“ deal. It’s a miracle it did not fold them at self during those chases. They must have brace that I guess or just took a chance it wouldn’t | 2021-08-11 10:15
night cub ![]() | 1980-81 | 2021-07-19 08:50
night cub ![]() | I believe they were used by the Los Angeles County Sherriff's Department, and the studio bought a bunch of them at auction. Similar LeMans popped up in a lot of TV shows of the time. | 2021-05-30 02:31
JE77 ![]() | I think there was red one in the background, once or trice, near the end of the show. -- Last edit: 2021-05-30 02:24:59 |
2021-05-30 02:24 | ||
JE77 ![]() | I think their was an red one and an blue one in one or two episodes each. | 2021-05-30 02:20
JE77 ![]() | Is this the only solid white 1969 Dodge Charger on IMCDB?. Because there's a great GTA V movie, called 'Hotline', that has one in it. -- Last edit: 2021-05-31 23:58:51 |

76grantorino ![]() | Pilot episode of starsky and hutch they used two 1975s supplied/loaned by Ford they were not 74s. | 2021-03-04 02:42
Nick Rynearson ![]() | Did some math for this, 99 bucks in 1978 is about 400 today, so this probably was garbage back then | 2021-01-23 06:28
Nick Rynearson ![]() | Personally I disagree those old Fullsize Ford are still pretty cheap and aren't going anywhere in value outside of Derbies |

no1uno ![]() | A Satellite coupe or Satellite Sebring would've had a bar style speedometer. The Satellite Sebring Plus had the Rallye gauge cluster (like the Roadrunner and GTX had) which you can kind of see in these pictures -- Last edit: 2020-11-04 23:55:27 |

no1uno ![]() | The same '74 Roadrunner that was used in earlier the Georgia episodes was also used in the later (California) episodes before disappearing after Limo One Is Missing. Notice the stripe on the driver's door that doesn't line up well, and the yellow sticker on the front bumper (Once again notice the '74 style seatbelts) -- Last edit: 2020-11-04 22:14:52 |
