Z2 AU328i (seen in HD). Not necessarily built in South Africa (I think only 318i/320i/323i were built in SA). According to https://www.valueyourcar.co.za/ the 328i went on sale in 1998 in SA, with other models going on sale in 1999.

Z2 AU1997+. Not (necessarily) built in South Africa. According to this site, only the SLK320 was built there: https://www.slkworld.com/threads/more-slk-history-info.2469/ (but I'm not sure I trust it).

Citsa ZAThe FWD model did not reach our shores until 1985, IIRC - will have to check. 2012-08-10 23:25
Citsa ZAApologies, it slipped my mind that - as a sedan - it would have been called Meteor in ZA.

Citsa a écrit It would most likely be called Fairlane.

The 'Fairlane' is used for the mid-sized Ford series, but the subject vehicle is the full size

Citsa ZAAgree. I was undecided between Mazda 616 Coupe and (Mitsubishi) Dodge Colt, but the shape of the rear side window gives this one away. Have a look at http://motoburg.com/imgs/6130-mazda-616-03.jpg.html vs. http://www.streetfire.net/photo/_1504290.htm 2012-08-08 21:58
Citsa ZAIt would most likely be called Fairlane. 2012-08-08 21:51
ingo DENo problem ;) It's indeed 1964+, because of the bigger side windows. This is the crucial point. Maybe in ZA VW had used some older bits for the next MY's, but it's also not unlikely, that some owners took unoriginal parts for the repair or restoration. In more than 40 years a lot can happen... 2012-08-06 21:53
