Exiv96 ![]() | 72xx should be 111-CC-D06-1, apparently. Link to "cptdb.ca" Edit : and now that link, as well as Wikipedia, lists them as 111-CC-D6-1 instead of D06-1, from 1972. -- Last edit: 2020-04-26 03:53:11 |

Gamer ![]() | Just put a left bracket, a lowercase b, and then a right bracket: [ b ] and a [ / b ] where you want the bold part to end. Of course, you'll need to write it without the spaces like in my example. | 2016-05-20 22:06
zodiac ![]() | Please change to 280 SL!! Does anyone know how to write in bold? That is to emphasize certain words. |

zodiac ![]() | When 1968+ there's just one option; the 280 SL http://wiki.mercedes-benz-classic.com/index.php/Kategorie:W113 . | 2016-05-18 19:57

night cub ![]() | I don't think Levi Edition. The stripe matches the 1976 Gremlin X. The 1974-75 "X" models had the hockey stick stripe. Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" |

zodiac ![]() | So why a 1969 MY? | 2016-05-17 19:40
night cub ![]() | Looking at the ones for sale, you will notice that all of the 1968 models do not have headrests, and all the 1969 models have them: hemmings.com/classifieds/?0=0&makeFacet=Mercedes-Benz&adtypeFacet=Vehicles for Sale&year_min=1968&year_max=1969&sort=sort_time_desc&page_size=15&modelFacet[]=250SL&modelFacet[]=280SL -- Last edit: 2016-05-17 19:27:08 |

electra225 ![]() | 1971 or '72. | 2016-05-17 19:01
zodiac ![]() | According to my books at home one claims the head rests was standard fittings from 1968 MY while another claims they were optional extra all the time. I don't know what to believe. One book claims that the over riders with rubber inserts came on the 1968 MY, another one claims it came on the 1969 MY. But, the chrome strip beneath the number plate dissapeared on U.S. cars from 1968 MY, so that's something to go on. (It remained on European spec cars.) Hence it's, at least, a 1968+ Mercedes-Benz 280 SL [W 113]. -- Last edit: 2016-05-17 19:02:27 |
