993cc VAAn ad at a specific point in time isn't enough evidence to name a car. Official name in UK was same as everywhere else: Berlina. Here's the users manual for the UK:

1972+ in this case - 1970-72 looked this way (mirrors, taillamps).
The full name of "206" is always L 206 D.

JCB UKThey are both FS1E's an icon to 16 year olds of the 1970s.
Just about every older British biker had one of these in his youth as you could only ride a 50c 'moped' at 16 !

No, only the Kawasaki girl in the very beginning, but this is shown on a very amusing humorous way. The main subject of the film is the search for a gold toilet seat.

chris40 UK1957-65. It has a 'TOWING' plate on the front, suggesting it's owned by a garage; in which case the trade plates are probably permanently attached.

Just RHD is not enough.

Sorry, but I believed it was a useful add. They were not just RHD but had speedometer in miles, white front indicators and other UK specs.

Dear dsl, you are wrong. Betas was eventually firstly shown in November 1972 at the Turin show in its pre-series version (different grille from the production car), but entered in production in the late late spring in a slightly different range and new grille. Export begun in late summer and in 1974 one of the very first for the UK market ( a bright red 1800) was bought by Emerson Fittipaldi, who, at the time for some reason registered it in UK.
In Italy the 1300 eleminated the 1400 in November 1974 but I believe this happened later in UK.

zodiac SEI'd be quite surprised if it is.
I rather believe it's a 145 because of a slightly higher apperance, slightly longer rear wings and because of the colour. 1973 or 1974, I can't see if it has got the bigger bumpers.
