ingo DE:think: So is it EKV 881 with a Carlton Carriage body, which was recently sold for 470.500 € ? http://www.motor-talk.de/news/der-letzte-seiner-art-t4499257.html

P.S.In the article it's written, that this is the last DB18 Drophead Coupé at all. Is that true?

carguy60 USThe F-O-R-D letters on the hood and the lack of Fairlane 500 script on the front fenders tells me this is not a Fairlane 500, but a Fairlane Town Sedan. 2009-11-01 02:25
Mycroft USNot a Kaiser Darrin. The car in the picture has suicide doors. The Darrin had doors whth handles at the rear, and the doors slid forward into the fenders. 2009-10-01 23:08

Weasel1984 PLSeries in this case = ~generation. But such naming convention is not in use since 2005. New "Series 5" (5th generation), is called according to first letter of the model name - R-Series P... etc.
