blackwalls wrote In fact, the correct name is Dodge 3700 GT. Barreiros was out of the company when this car was launched, and his name was no longer carried on the cars built on Villaverde's factory.

No it isn't. When Barreiros lost it's enterprise and it became Chrysler España, they decided to renovate the old Barreiros range by the Simca/Talbot range. And for reduce costs they stopped making the 3700 GT and the Simcas, and that means that all 3700 GT built were still Barreiros.

carobserver MXThe Ford Fiesta was produced in Spain in Almusafes, valencia, and is more logical to suggest a spanish origin of a Ford Fiesta being in Spain, in a era when the imported cars in that country was very few and restricted. 2007-10-21 00:24

rpcm PTWith the help of a magnifying glass it's possible to see it has the smaller rear lights and it seems to have a C-pillar badge. Combinating these features with the hubcaps and the rear bumper overriders, I would say it's a 1970 1750 GT Veloce 2a serie. 2007-10-20 22:29

rpcm PTBy the badge on the right of the bootlid, I would say a GS/E. The script between the left rear light and the numberplate identifies an Automatic.
Although the Commodore and the Commodore GS were launched at the 1972 "Salon de Genève", the Commodore GS/E was only launched later that year. I think it was introduced at the "Salon de Paris". So, it's a 1973 ( model year )+ version.
