eLMeR MHThanks for these explanations, Sunbar. I bookmark this page for future reference.

For the record, the design of the (T)As is clearly inspired from the one of their contemporary US cousins, the 1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design trucks:

Sunbar UKThe truck here is a TJ - Bedford J5, J6 or J7 by the higher ride-height - larger wheels and rounded front wings.

eLMeR wrote What are the differences between J,TA and TJ series?

'J' and 'TJ' are the same. Vauxhall-Bedford added the T (for truck) prefix to distinguish them from the car (E, F, H etc.) and van (CA and CF) chassis , however it often appears without the T prefix. They were all internal chassis codes which initially were not well publishised, unlike the later 'TK'.

A-type or TA - normal control trucks, 1-ton to 5-ton 1953-1957
C-type or TC - forward control trucks, 4-ton to 7-ton 1957-1960 (replaced the S-type which never was the 'TS' as far as I know).
D-type or TD - normal control trucks, 1-ton to 6-ton 1957-1959 (replaced the TA).
J-type or TJ - normal control trucks, 1-ton to 6-ton 1959-1988 (replaced the TD).

Later, finally the forward and normal-control ranges were prominatly advertised as the 'TK' and 'TJ' (but they later advertised the heavier TKM as the 'KM' preferring to drop the T.)

DynaMike NLThis colour (vert Palmeraie) and upholstery: 1973 only.
The 2CV was never assembled in NL. Except the very early ones almost all 2CV's in Holland came from Belgium until circa 1970. But in the 70s they came from Belgium or Spain, then from France and (of course) the last ones from Portugal.
I don't think it is possible to see whether this one is from Belgium or Spain (or France).

50sParis wrote Maybe we can identify the year based on the Belgian plate

Not possible, because until a few years ago the Belgian plates -as the Swiss ones, too- belonged to the owner and not to the car.
One funny result was, that you could see brand new cars with 1960ies plates.
A big advantage was, when you spot pre-1971-combinations, you could expect the dangers of a doddery driver.
