Baube a écrit to me the lack of chrome strips in the grille would suggest 1966 ( '65 pictured in the link )

You're right, Baube. I mixed up the year differences, the listed car is a '66, 1965 Mustang were the ones that had all the trim. I don't know of the '64's.

The trim. There's no trim behind the doors, and I'm pretty sure the grille changed for '66 too.

dsl a écrit I remember that issue. CAR was a dead cool magazine, a bit anarchic when all the other UK mags were very straight with no sense of humour (apart from Custom Car which had lots of ladies who didn't wear many clothes sprawled over purple metalflake Anglias). That Marina project was however a step too far which was widely laughed at.

Custom Car had the big disadvantage, compared with CAR, that they don't wrote about the K 70 :o
I have to look in my literature collection, but I cannot remember any Custom Car issued - but of CAR I have a bunch.
IIRC the most of them I digged under tables on spare parts markets in Belgium and Germany, ebay-deals aren't that much among them.
I may look for Custom Car issues, but actually I'm too tired - the wild boar burger with asparagus plus the red wine and the Riga Balsam at the end need my whole mental capacity now.
btw.: the burger meal was caused by Corona, supporting the local restaurants.

Sunbar UKFrom google search...

Filmed in the mid-1970s here, but the last Leyland RTL was withdrawn from public service by LT in November 1968, (Ian's bus stop) well before the AEC RT was eventually withdrawn in the late 1970s (Wikipedia).

It's their way of measuring cubic inches(I think) 5850cc translates to 357 cubic inches on the converting table.

johnfromstaffs ENThere is a pile of these somewhere in my wobbly archive, but somewhere around this time I had become infected by the old car bug, probably caused by driving Hillman Hunters, and stopped buying Car in favour of classic magazines. My 1962 Triumph Herald 1200 Coupé didn’t help either.

This looks like exactly the sort of film I would have crossed several main roads to avoid seeing.
