sixcyl ![]() | I've seen this film few days ago. Up to me, I suspect it's the same car used at the beginning of the film (this one, the first car they steal)and at the end despite their different plates but I'm not sure. Another DS in the background. ![]() |

M268 ![]() | Same car used at the beginning and the end. They just changed the registration number. Bertrand Blier told once that this DS had been ordered specially for the movie as there were no green DS available at movie renting companies. Reason is green is suposed to give bad luck to movie and theater people. | 2012-02-22 19:21
| (inactive user) | The car used at the beginning of the movie is this one: /vehicle_2032-Citroen-DS-23-IE-1974.html | 2012-02-20 20:07 | ||
M268 ![]() | I agree on the year but not on the type. The car visible in this movie is a DS and not a DSuper: large wheel caps, small lights inside on each side of the rear window (visible above between the two actresses) and hydraulic gear box (not visible here but at the begining of the movie). | 2012-02-20 19:36

jplemoine ![]() | Loupé... presque. H50 sans V, manque le cache-courroie et est présent l'échappement typique des versions sans variateur de vitesse. Donc sans le V de l'appellation... -- Last edit: 2012-02-19 17:08:45 |

DynaMike ![]() | Maybe different colours for theroof were available in some export markets, but normally not in France. Maybe it was made like this specially for this movie (as Aziz says in his comment). | 2012-02-19 14:16
DynaMike ![]() | 1962+ (sliding windows in rear doors). | 2012-02-19 14:07
DynaMike ![]() | Not easy to be sure, but indeed the indicator lights are aftermarket, as are the clamps to keep the windows in open position, and the interior light. The rear with metallic trunk lid and non-original taillights belongs to a 1958+ AZLP, but the lack of strips under the doors and on the bonnet contradicts this possibility. I think it is a 'pimped' 1953/54 A. | 2012-02-19 14:06

bob dieck ![]() | About DS 23 colours. I have one, 1974, DS 23 Pallas carburateur, bronze scarabée and white roof. Well, not so white today, but the roof is not bronze, for sure (it is a light cream). And the car has not been repainted. -- Last edit: 2012-02-19 12:11:06 |
