dsl ![]() | I think H plate visible onscreen = 1969-70. Not an AC Invacar - sloping rear without straight fins, no back-sloping on rear window. Greeves Invacar?? | 2017-09-28 14:02
dsl ![]() | Over-riders so April 62 onwards, and Mk2 more likely. | 2014-12-08 12:42

dsl ![]() | I think this is 1100R estate - very rare in UK, but it was sold April 66 - April 69, and there was an Autocar road test in Jan 67. | 2011-03-21 14:16
dsl ![]() | Orange Scimitar GTE in background, plus further back a rare Victor 101 [FC] estate. | 2011-03-21 03:27

dsl ![]() | Just watched this - lots of excellent captures of cars seen very briefly, and some updates suggested. Also a good film in the first half for fans of early 70s cassette players. | 2011-03-21 03:18
dsl ![]() | Mk2 grille briefly visible onscreen and G-plate = 1968-69. | 2011-03-21 01:51
dsl ![]() | D-plate 1966 briefly visible. | 2011-03-21 01:20
dsl ![]() | Appears as a supposed RAF vehicle with 83AM81 plate, but the front plate is deliberately removed to briefly show TUF 451, issued April - July 57. | 2011-03-21 01:18
dsl ![]() | F-plate - 1st thumb = 1967. | 2011-03-21 00:49
dsl ![]() | Aug 67 or later for boot badge, bumper logo and rubber over-rider insets. And it looks possible F-plate. | 2011-03-21 00:46
dsl ![]() | xxx plates issued June - August 56 - I think this date matches the car?? | 2011-03-21 00:43

dsl ![]() | LHD, US-style sidemarkers and red edging to number plate which I think was to show it was due for export. | 2011-03-21 00:26
DynaMike ![]() | Only difference was the badge and the grille... Nothing specific for GB market (except RHD), so no reason to list it as 'Made for GB'. |

chris40 ![]() | I think Elf too. | 2010-10-15 21:30
dsl ![]() | I think Riley Elf - it's a Riley colour scheme and there's no Wolseley grille badge. | 2010-10-15 21:23

dsl ![]() | 1971+ XL. | 2010-10-11 15:19
dsl ![]() | J plates = 1970-71 - too early for 2500 TC, so is 2.5 Pi with correct wheel trims. | 2010-09-30 21:44
dsl ![]() | 1971+ Hunter de luxe from boot badge. | 2010-09-23 23:21
dsl ![]() | Thumb is Zephyr with V6 and Deluxe boot badges. | 2010-09-20 23:22
got_the_feelin ![]() | Morris Marina 1.8 TC Saloon in Glacier White. Looks like another TC in the far background to me, in Teal Blue. Amazed to see 2 in the same shot! The vehicle details for MYF 144L are: Date of Liability 01 02 1991 Date of First Registration 18 01 1973 Year of Manufacture Not Available Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1798CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour WHITE Looks like it lasted longer than the one my dad had in the 80s! |
2010-06-22 00:22 | ||
marklandynut ![]() | No, not an 80". Chris, I think you're closer when you say 86". Its either an 86" or an 88", but unfortunately there are no decent side shots to tell the difference. The 80" has angled shuts on the rear of the doors and internal door handles, unlike this one. | 2010-06-19 22:51
electra225 ![]() | 1967 Super Imp in "Yellow Gold". Look at the chromed plate frame. | 2010-03-17 19:54
Bebert ![]() | La 2500 TC sort en décembre 1973. Donc millésime 1974. Non? | 2009-08-20 09:20
DynaMike ![]() | Most probably a visitors van from abroad... New (no-suicide) doors: 1965+. In Slough only the AU and AZU were built, AFAIK until 1960. And imports of 2CV didn't start before 1974 (except for a small bunch in 1965 from Belgium). So I'd go for 1965+ 2CV AK 350, not 'made for GB', though there might be a small chance (I couldn't find exact info on this possiblity) that it is a 1965 (only) 2CV AK 350, built in Belgium, made for Nigeria, but exported to UK... | 2009-06-08 22:32
Sunbar ![]() | Commer 1500 [FC] series 2A from 1963 onwards. The name Commer picked out in letters rather than being in a badge, also a new grille made of three chrome strips. The number moved between the headlamps. Looks to be C registered so 1965. -- Last edit: 2014-01-05 13:49:38 |

chris40 ![]() | Sorry, Aziz, no way: the headlight is too high and it has a full-width grille. Definitely A40 Mk.II. | 2009-06-06 20:08
Bob Dieck ![]() | This is a long AK with modern engine hood. Which is the first year? I am not sure, but 1963 it is impossible. | 2009-06-04 22:19
