dsl SX"Building Cars in Australia" is clear that 1966-72 was Morris and everything built in Aus after 73 was named Leyland. 2016-03-08 03:49
moke AUthere are actually two different cars being shown in this item,a Yellow and a White one. The yellow one is probably a 1973 while the white one is more likely 1974 or at least later than the yellow one.

"I think Aus Mokes got big wheels soon after 1966 assembly started, but were badged Morris until 72/73 name change to Leyland."

Only early 10" wheeled Moke built in 1966-67 were badged Morris Mini Moke. No mokes were ever badge with Leyland, they were "Morris Mini Moke", "BMC Moke" and then "MOKE" for BLMC and Leyland built cars until the end.

cresta1957 ATThis is to 100% a Vauxhall E-Series car of 1957 because of typical front grill only for this year. Because of missing contrasting sideflash, surly no Cresta. Impossible to say if Velox EIPV or Wyvern EIX but surly 1957 and not 1956 when Vauxhall cars had a completly different grille. 2013-06-16 20:45

dsl SX:king: Convertible introduced March 62 during S1, updated with other versions to S2 August 62, discontinued June 64 a few months before S3. No easy way to split S1/S2 from front, but S1 rarer for short duration. So S2 more likely. 2013-05-20 22:33

Ddey65 USI actually saw a red Mini Moke on the road this weekend. The trouble is I no longer remember if it was an Austin or Leyland. 2013-05-20 22:15

dsl SXNot for the Moke which has its own page but the Minis. Main is 1960-67 Mk1 basic Austin or Morris. Thumbs are a 1970+ Mini 1000 Mk3. All UK built. 2013-05-20 21:27

dsl SXProbably UK for historic links and general number of UK cars in Seychelles films. Unlikely D would have done RHD in those days. Aus, NZ and ZA are theoretical possibilities, but I'd be surprised if any actual shipments. 2013-05-20 20:14

dsl SXAug 56 onwards Velox or Wyvern [E]. Not Cresta as no ornate side panels in different colours. As Wyvern stopped Jan 57, Velox is more likely as it lasted to Sept 57. 2013-05-20 20:05
