dsl a écrit If that's a small black plastic vent behind rear window corner, I think it's a Seat-made 850 sold briefly in a few countries after Fiat production stopped with 127 arrival. Called Seat or Fiat according to country. Discussion here suggests Seat used in F, and seems the same dark red/maroon.

I don't agree, dsl, that plastic trim was much more visible. Here is a reflex and the colour doesn't help. I would say a Steyr-Puch or a Fiat.

electra225 a écrit ....a red 1100 or 1300 Mk II 2 door with a black vinyl top ...

Interesting. The only factory vinyl roofs were 1300 GT and the 71-only America. The America was sold in CH, so maybe A as well?? (Or a CH visitor or home-made roof covering as other explanations).

bjorn240 US1970-1971 (Series 3) Citroen DS21. Color is Bleu Platine, which was only offered in 1970 and 1971. Base model judging by lack of chrome strip along door sides. 2017-04-12 14:27
rjluna2 USI think the extra retroreflectors affixed on the bumper are 1970 model year only (still no banana vent here) 2017-04-12 14:26
electra225 ITNot so unusual. I saw half a dozen in a period of three weeks in Vienna in September 1985. Think that in 1985 more than half should have already been scrapped.
Among them I can recall a "bronze Yellow" Austin 1300 GT, a red 1100 or 1330 Mk II 2 door with a black vinyl top and a MK III White Morris 1300 Traveller.

I would say that they were not very common but not rare.

I've found two photos making distinguishing by front wing easier.

130rapid PLID/D-Series. For sure made between 1965-1966 or 1968-1971 (1965+ black steering wheel for ID, no white color for ID '67, pre-1971 door handles). I've feeling late 60s. It seems fresh. 2017-04-12 09:37
