ingo DEWell, big Opel were all the times, still today, very very cheap as used cars. Theit loss of value is much bigger than for same-sized Benzes. I remember more moviies from the 70ies, where KAD-models were wrecked, which were at that times not even 6, 7 years old. Yes, back then cars had a shorter life than today, but they were prmium class cars and not cheap throw-away clunkers. 2013-03-06 18:59

Lateef NOTo me it looks like it's got chromed grille surround, not to mention a central horizontal grille bar, meaning it's rather a 1971-73

Nightrider a écrit It also can be 1958 Belvedere with "Sport coupe" body. Remember, Furys use gold grille and side trim,as well as bumper guards was standart equipment. Another thing is a 150 MPH speedo

but this is custom if you could call it that anything can be changed

XFJaguar a écrit it mite b a plymouth plaza, but more likely it is a belvedere

Can't be a Plaza. It has the full "Flight Sweep" side trim with both lines and contrast (paint or possibly inserts), and is a 2-door hardtop. Plaza models were 2-door or 4-door "post" bodys (meaning coupe or sedan).

It's a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door hardtop "Sport Coupe".

Citation But look at the taillight design provided by the stronghold! It seems to have Dart taillights with Plymouth fin. Can anyone collaborate with this design

It's a 1960 Dodge with fake tail fins and side trim added on to look more like the '58 Plymouth used in the rest of chase. I suppose they did it because they did not want to beat up the Plymouth so bad...

Ingo DEO.k., the pic is not good, but the original VW-orange ("leuchtorange", L20B) was different. It can be "kasanred" or perhaps "clementine-orange". 2008-05-06 20:00
Ingo DEI think, no 200 D. As I know, the police in that times had no Diesel-cars. At least, because there is nearly no other car so slow as a Mercedes 200 D.
But a 200 D can surely make a few millions of kilometers more.

58Roadmaster USFins are based on 57-58 Plymouth; roof is Dodge/Chrysler, grille is 1960 Dodge. 1959 Kingsway used 1959 Plymouth fins, so this could be custom. It would be odd if the company went backwards in sourcing parts!

I'm starting to accept the idea of it being a 118" w.b. Dart sedan: Seneca, Pioneer, or Phoenix. The rear doors on these models contain no part of the tail fin, unlike the Polara/Matador (US/Canadian market). Agree car_nerd: Tail fins here are just tacked on. 1957-58 Plymouths did not have unibody construction.

How about "1960 Dodge Dart sedan modified?"

Good site: http://www.bluelotussoft.com/1960dodge/facts.htm

Edit: @car_nerd, now I know the different Dodge and Dodge Dart grilles.
