There was also better site with 204 evolution, where it was mentioned but can't find it now.

tibi HUThe grille and the headlights make me think it's a '62 Chev, so I hold with rjluna. 2012-05-05 22:35
56chevy CAThat is a GM X-frame, used by Chevrolet from 1958-64. Also by 1961-64 Buicks, 1958-60 US Pontiacs, 1958-64 Canadian Pontiacs, and Cadillac. Never used by Olds.

Front bumper and grille make it look like a 1963 Chev Biscayne/Impala
2012-05-05 22:23
mr. technicality USI'm thinking more like 60-61 bel-air or biscayne four door 2011-08-17 19:39

DynaMike NLThere were about twice as many Cabriolets, so I'd propose to list it as such (otherwise it could be "any" 404). 2011-03-24 16:57
Gomselmash11:wow: looks similar to the Crespi Tulietta... Its really NICE! 2011-03-24 16:39
rjluna2 USHmm... It does looks like 1962 Chevrolet to me.

I don't see trim at the rocker panel could lead to believe that is a Bel Air model, not sure

Just copy the picture and rotate by 180 degrees and just take a look at it :)

FuegoTurbo ITEven to me it seemed like a 1963 Chevrolet, but it seems too small ? Maybe it's just an effect of the unusual position... 2011-03-24 14:29
dsl SXUnveiled at 1967 Turin show - http://www.reocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/2068/vignale_125_samantha.htm and up to 100 made. Strange story of UK sales at http://www.mixe.demon.nl/gamine/gamine_uk_history.htm . And it has Jensen doors from Vignale's assembly of the first 60 or so Interceptors http://www.sportingfiatsclub.com/models/twink/history.asp#samantha125 .

rjluna2 USWe have two of them! The white one with red retroreflectors right next to the backup light is 1967. The other one at the right is 1967/68. 2011-03-24 12:56
rjluna2 USVertical headlights, so 1968/69 (At the time of filming). 2011-03-24 12:53

dsl SXAmerican, 4 headlights. Chevrolet?? Early 60s Impala??? 2011-03-24 12:22
DynaMike NLIt's a bit early in the day, but  Dsl :D 2011-03-24 12:20
DynaMike NLYes, I'd say it's a convertible with hardtop, indeed. But I'm not sure of it being a Sunbeam. Rather a Triumph TR4 or 5 ?? 2011-03-24 12:19
dsl SXI don't see anything Sunbeam-ish. Triumph TR4 with hardtop? 2011-03-24 12:19
DynaMike NLLooks like it. Nice! 2011-03-24 12:06
DynaMike NLAs found in "l'Automobile" (Salon 69 issue from October 1969; it was not yet listed in the Salon 68 edition, so it must have appeared somewhere in 1969 and thus brandnew when filmed...).

DynaMike NLI'd say it's a 1964-1967 Peugeot 404 Cabriolet or Coupé... 2011-03-24 11:41
DynaMike NLActually it's a 1955-1961 AZU. The AK (350) didn't arrive before 1963, did not have the ribs on the higher half of the body side, usually had an almost square rear side window and never had this old front. 2011-03-24 11:35
FuegoTurbo IT1000 Coupé ? 2011-03-24 11:32
DynaMike NLYes and no. Of course it is a PL 17, but the small badge on the front indicates it's a 1964/65 version, and in these years it was called 17 without PL. Seems to be a basic version, but it's not easy to see the difference in this picture. 2011-03-24 11:30
FuegoTurbo ITPL 17 2011-03-24 11:26
DynaMike NLCitroën is well known for the long periods of production of its models, but the Ami 6 was only built from 1961 till 1969, when it was replaced by the Ami 8 (which indeed was continued until 1978 (or 1979 for the Break).
By the new grille, this is a 1966+ version.
