| dsl | Very difficult in this view to split S1/2/3. The plate is early 65 so newer than car, and I'm a bit confused by the overrirders - they look slimmer and straighter than usual S1-3 slightly knobbly format, but have found no trace of this as a recognised change or any other clear examples. However a small ray of sunshine in the screen shape - compare S1 (and S2) versus S3 - S3 looks slightly taller, straighter shape and aharper bottom corners. S3 may also have simpler bonnet badge without a pale outer surround. So I think S1/S2 here, with S2 (as entered) more likely from numbers made. |
