dsl ![]() | So it's either a 66 911 or a 67 911 or 912 (with the 5 dial option). The only way in these views of splitting 66 and 67 would be the interior mirror which in 66 hung down on a long chromed stalk from the roof, but in 67 was replaced by being stuck onto windscreen. This car has a highly inconvenient sticker/tax disc hiding that bit, but the apparently one-piece sun visor in seems impossible for a 66 mirror and would only work without a stalk from the roof. So my hunch is a 67. As 912 was bigger seller than 911, I've no problem with it being a 67 912 with extra dial option, but you may be able to make a better guess from the rear badge on your original copy than I can from these processed pictures. Also when did pimples on hubcaps disappear?? I think they were present in 66 and 67 on both 911 and 912 according to pictures in 2 books, but neither book has text reference and both sometimes lack precision in their picture captioning. So additional confirmation might help. Seems gone by 68 anyway. |

50sParis ![]() | The plates are switched during a scene; 5 gauge dash was available for the 912 in '67 |

dsl ![]() | If the plates are reliable there are 2 cars in the main selection, and I can't say if either/both are 911 and/or 912. But the 5-dial dash is 911 - 912 only had 3. | 2016-04-08 21:57

dsl ![]() | Mk1. Can anyone identify the Motor Show in this film - Brussels? 66 or 67? | 2011-03-19 19:12
joeaki ![]() | It's such a beautiful car, and so rare. Too bad this is the only pic on the site. | 2010-12-03 04:24

Commander 57 ![]() | Since this Hawk is finned, it should not be listed as a '56. I would go with '57 pending a better photo that could narrow it down further. (It could actually be anywhere from a '57 to a '61 but definitely NOT a '56.) -- Last edit: 2010-03-05 22:56:44 |

electra225 ![]() | Fiat 600 D (built before 1965 anyway...) | 2010-01-01 11:55
| 2009-08-20 09:03
Bebert ![]() | MK1 | 2009-08-19 18:06
Weasel1984 ![]() | "Nettunia" according to: http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/fiat1100d_1.htm However in brochure described just as 1100 D: http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/fiat1100dr_2.htm#11du ... |
2009-08-06 01:21 | ||
Weasel1984 ![]() | I found on the same site, that car identical with Neckar Europa was also built in Belgium - its name was Fiat Urania (or 1100 Urania): http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/fiat1100dr_2.htm#11du | 2009-08-06 01:17
DynaMike ![]() | Since 1957 Fiat 1100 models were also assembled in Belgium by S.A.M.A.F. (Société Anonyme de Montage des Automobiles FIAT). But the combination of suicide front doors and bigger rear window was typical for the German built 1960/61 NSU-Fiat Neckar Spezial, sold in export markets as Neckar Europa.![]() Cf http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/fiat1100Sx_2.htm#neckar -- Last edit: 2009-06-10 23:32:48 |

DynaMike ![]() | Looks like ther's no indicator on the C-pillar: 1961+. | 2009-06-10 21:58
DynaMike ![]() | The AZAM was called AZM3 in Belgium, and here they had the third side window from the beginning, so from 1963 onwards. But (though the picture is quite blurred) there seems to be an exhaust pipe to the rear, which makes it a 1965+ AZAM 6 (with Ami 6 chassis and engine). | 2009-06-10 21:55
DynaMike ![]() | Front indicators and parking lights on the rear make this van different from French built versions. | 2009-06-10 21:47
DynaMike ![]() | By the third side window and the aluminium bumper a 1958-1963 AZL3. I think that the posistion of the license plate and the shape of the taillights (by Sabel) indicate a 1960+ vesrion. | 2009-06-10 21:45
DynaMike ![]() | Bestelwagen or Fourgonnette? Belgium is bi-lingual... | 2009-06-10 21:36
Weasel1984 ![]() | Well, so ok, I wasn't sure how it is with other types of Imageshack links. cl82 But really sad that this movie seems to be not avaiable in better quality and in TV I saw it only once. -- Last edit: 2009-05-27 17:03:24 |

Weasel1984 ![]() | How it can be a 1968 2002 in film from the 1967, maybe even filmed in the late 1966?! It is actually not so obvious that the grill is black. You could leave the comment when you make changes dear anonymous admin. -- Last edit: 2009-05-27 15:43:31 |

DAF555 ![]() | Film was shown in June -67 for the first time, so this would be a 1967 model, the basic 1200 was available as 67 model to. | 2009-05-27 14:19
DAF555 ![]() | As far as I know these were not available with windows from factory. But it was not uncommon that windows were mounted later. I havn´t seen sales material naming them Olympia either, what market was that? These sold as Opel Lieferwagen on homemarket, or an equivalent translation on other markets. Panel Van, Varevogn, Leveranssedan etc. But I wouldn´t be surprised to find a badge somewhere on the car with the name Olympia on it, just to show the connection with the passenger cars. Being in Belgium I suppose it would be called Opel Bestelwagen [L-50] |
2009-05-27 14:15 | ||
DAF555 ![]() | This is way to early to be a 60. Most likely just Audi, no number for the first modelyear. Possibly a 1967 72, without badge, or 80. | 2009-05-27 14:05
antp ![]() | I do not care, it is stored on imageshack server ![]() 1 GIF = 1x BBcode in the comment, in our DB 8 JPEG = 8x BBcode in the comment, in our DB so the GIF actually takes less space in our DB than posting separate pics, even if it makes the page heavier to load ![]() I just hope that such "big" pictures will not be deleted quickly by imageshack due to bandwidth use... we'll see. It could be nice for some particular short action scenes. -- Last edit: 2009-05-27 11:01:55 |
