Chances are it is not. Many of the American "Road Barges" that were so popular in the 50's and 60's were subject to new strict emissions regulations in the 1970's. A good amount of them were deemed unfit and sent to the car crushers. In certain rural areas in Japan in junkyards, you can still see the remains of these cars. There was a wrecking yard very close to my home when I resided there where the owner made a display of the front pieces of several American Cadillac's and Buicks.
This Imperial probably suffered the same fate, unfortunately.

dsl SXAs comments above and pictures in lemansvk's history, changing to 1960+ [PT200]. Photo clearly does not have the Minx S3a-c side finline of 1962+ PT300 shown in the photobucket link, but looks more ornate paint than and without sidebars in windows of 58/59 PT100.

Hi, that's my photobucket page with the Hillman Express - scanned from an Isuzu brochure of the era. If you are interested in Isuzu Hillmans I have researched and written a history of them. It fills in lots of gaps and corrects a number of mistakes that are currently circulating on the internet - for example, the Express estate was first built in 1958/9, not 1962 as quoted in some websites. Also, after 1958 Isuzu Minxes were built completely in Japan, not assembled from imported parts.

If you would like a free copy of the history, contact me at vichughes165@gmail.com

Cheers, Vic

DynaMike wrote And 315 should be added?

Possibly - (deep breath and jump). The Cortina was going to be launched as Consul 225 (1200cc versions) and 255 (1500cc versions) until a last minute change - there are some pre-production photos with Consul 225 badges - so Classic (launched June 61) quietly became 315 sometime in 1962 ready for this. Mk2 Consul [204E] had become 375 from May 61, and the Classic Capri became 335 at the same time as the Classic saloon. There may even have been A Big Plan to create a Ford Consul family 225/255/315/335/375 (and an unknown number for the imminent Consul Corsair) and drop subnames (Classic, Capri) particularly for export markets. In theory this would mean the Classic becomes either a Classic or a 315, but not both.

I think I'll let someone else decide.

In the movie there are 2-3 traffic scenes filmed outside studios. In one of them, Gary Grant is on the Imperial LeBaron and we can see it in front view and others Tokyo traffic passing cars. Later, Grant, Samantha Eggar and Jim Hutton are in a yellow Toyopet Crown Standard but the cars we see after them come from the scene I said above. We can see the Imperial LeBaron and the Daihatsu V200
