DidierF FROddly enough, this one aso is deprived of its French title on IMDb.

For Imamura Shôhei's movies French titles, see Filmographie du réalisateur.

fortengo HUHaving browsed the net for fifties' Toyopets quite recently, :) I, too, seemed to remember that some early Crowns had divided windshields. And a visible dashboard is always a big help in identification...
Here is a nice interior shot of a well-preserved example (scroll down, almost to the bottom).

DidierF FRStill Prince (only, not Nissan) in 1963 but yes, I think it's a Clipper. I wouldn't say from here whether a 1958 or a 1963.

marcusdragonma BRNissan Prince Clipper? 2015-08-16 21:03
DidierF FRI would have said the same, fortengo.

(Mainly on the bases of the divided windshield, n the fact it is a taxicab, and comparing with the Japanese movies I had recently up-loded.)

But what did make you say it's a Toyopet Crown of 1955?
