DynaMike ![]() | Yes. I think it will ba a late (1951) version, by the highe mounted taillights. | 2012-04-21 13:32
DynaMike ![]() | Nice, it's a two-tone version! These were new for model year 1958, only available on Grand Standing trim. And since the car shown here still has the old hubcaps it is a 1958 (only) Dyna 58 Grand Standing [Z12]. |

DynaMike ![]() | The car in the main pic has the new (1954+) gutters that follow the shape of the doors. Older models had gutters as seen in /vehicle_90078-Peugeot-203-1952.html . I guess Sixcyl supposed this to be a Affaires because of the lack of hubcaps, but I think the car has just lost the hubcap of the rear wheel (there seems to be one on the front wheel, cf first thumbnail). If it would have been a Affaires, it should have been a 1954 or 1955 indeed (after that year the Affaires wasn't available anymore), but as a Luxe it could be a 1956 as well (in 1957 they got front indicators). So I'd gor for a 1954-1956 203 Luxe, but I might be wrong. The 203 in the second post of Vilero is a different car: no taxi, sliding roof, aftermarket stoneguards. |

ezwb ![]() | How did you see that it is a Berline Affaire and not a normal Berline? And why 1954 or '55? I'm interested in the small modification details of the 203 throughout the years. Eric |

Sunbar ![]() | The contrasting side-flash appears to be one difference. Longer side-flash (closer to the head-lamp) and downward curve at the front is series III as in the picture, but upward curve for series II. |
2009-09-15 19:20 | ||
sixcyl ![]() | I have pictures of the Series III which match exactly with this one, though I don't know if there is any difference on body detail with the Series II? By the way, it's a Convertible. |

DynaMike ![]() | The same is visible in the background of /vehicle_248121-Simca-Aronde-P60-Oceane-1958.html . A Citroën that looks like a 1926 5 HP Torpédo Trèfle [C3], but pic is a bit blurry to be sure. | 2009-09-15 18:00
DynaMike ![]() | Austin-Healy Sprite 'Frogeye'. | 2009-09-15 17:51
DynaMike ![]() | 1958 (only) Simca Sport. The small rear window tells this is a convertible rather than a coupé, so an Océane. | 2009-09-15 17:49

DynaMike ![]() | By the chrome trim of the windscreen (and the side strips) I'd say a 1959 Dauphine Gordini. The two-tone paint and the front chrome are aftermarket extras. | 2009-09-15 17:45
